Come on my people, better get your heart right. MAGA hates you. You're just a pawn in their game. / Vamos, mi gente, más les vale poner su corazón en orden. El movimiento MAGA los odia. No son más que un peón en su juego.

Day of the Dead for Pets (DDLM de la Mascota) is celebrated today. Our pets leave paw prints on our hearts that never fade. May DDLM bring comfort as you remember the love, companionship, and precious memories of a dearly departed pet. “Jacob, you are dearly missed."

Found this sofa cushion in middle of the street while walking this morning. Cars were just driving around it. Doesn't fit in my trash bag but I did pick it up and set it near a trash can. Got me thinking of the song by The Kinks "Sittin' on My Sofa". www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3eH...

"Sittin' on My Sofa" Now I'm stuck here, sitting on my sofa, Oh, oh, oh, sitting on my sofa, Sipping at my soda, Sitting on my sofa. but in my version it's more like: Found it's on the street there, cushion from a sofa, Oh, oh, oh, cushion from a sofa, Plop it in the trash, Cushion from a sofa.

A comparison of early voting turnout by percentage between 2022 vs 2026. Halfway through early voting Texas is up 74% from 2022 - and that's a good thing - it puts us at presidential level voting. Hispanic turnout is really up - bodes well for Democrats - keep the pedal to the medal and keep GOTV

Written for & recorded by Nina Simone "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" in 1964, it was covered by the Animals that same year. Most voters are kind, forgiving people, others, not so much. I know the lines are long; but, be kind to poll workers. Most poll workers are acting out of patriotic duty. Poll workers are there to help you Vote Even if it's provisionally. So, please, please, please be kind to poll workers.
