With two resignations I hope that the UK's defences or lack of them, are back on the agenda. For years our defence's have been cut to the bone by multiple govts! But with Trump & Putin in office the chance of a major war is higher than ever & it seems the height of stupidity to continue this policy.

The BBC has announced that from today the UK govt is easing some sanctions on Russian oil products & natural gas, due to the Gulf war. But every extra penny earned will be spent killing Ukrainian's. I 🙏 we're sending Ukraine more air defence systems & long range missiles as compensation for this.

Trump thinks that VAT is unfairly charged on imports from the US. But, as far as I can see, VAT is charged on all transactions regardless of where the goods come from. So effectively US goods in this respect are treated the same as UK goods. Starmer would be mad to sign a trade deal with him.
