Lower wage inflation isn’t automatically good news. If wage growth slows while prices are still rising just as fast or faster, workers lose purchasing power. The goal isn’t simply lower wage growth. It’s wages growing faster than the cost of living. Wage is at 3.2% and so is inflation…this is bad

New research found that the tax exemptions for data centers could cost Kentucky over $1 billion in sales tax revenue. That’s more than we spend to fund public schools and universities. I won’t celebrate the loss. These players and this team hast been the best we’ve put together in World Cup history and deserve some praise. I will say though, I believe that Belgium was fueled by the controversy and this match would have been closer had the suspension held.

🧵A lot of Americans don’t understand inflation. They think as it drops prices will lower. Prices never lower, just the speed of increase. The problem is the wage increase versus the CPI. Wages for the lower and middle class are stagnant.

🧵 “But that stagnates growth” Can but not really. How can you grow if there’s no demand and discretionary funds in the market? We need to stabilize and invest in the work force and reduce the wage gap for the lower and middle class. This will free up fund’s for market growth.
