I used to make fun of Bones for calling their lab a "forensic platform" like that's an actual thing that exists, but now I get paid to call something a "forensic platform" at least twice a day. Life comes at you fast

Okay, here’s the deal with PW, the first time around I missed the tapes. I always got way more of a “this game is missing an ending” feeling from PW than MGSV, and this seems to be why

Portable Ops is the better game, whatever its relation to “canon” is. Peace Walker is practically unfinishable

I get what Kojima was going for with not pausing the game when you have the weapon/item menus open, but the execution is flawed. The switcher just isn’t ergonomic enough in PW. The MGSV approach was basically flawless because it had way less friction

There’s a reason people recycle the “Edelweiss” melody and not e.g. the “Climb Every Mountain” melody. The “Edelweiss” lyrics just aren’t that good and the music begs for better
