Wow, Bluesky is fucking up majorly lately. Twice it has been inaccessible on my cellphone and twice it has also made me sign in again on the phone. It's barely better than Threads which refreshes in the middle of reading something on my phone. I like the interface but want both to work better.

Just thought I'd say that in my opinion trump giving himself 1.776 billion dollars of taxpayers money to distribute to his personal insurrectionists is the very definition of treason and Congress needs to treat it as such. Maybe, just maybe, Democrats might want to mention this, I don't know, daily?

All these calls to invoke the 25th miss an important point or three. It's temporary, he can get Congress to reverse it and his sycophantic cabinet wouldn't dare do it. Besides, impeachment is permanent and could take a few days if they had the spines.

This is must reading as is everything Jay Rosen recommends and writes.

I'm frankly stunned by the number of people posting calls for invoking the 25th. This is the dumbest idea and displays an amazing ignorance of the process and the players necessary to make it happen. Illustrates a stunning lack of civics education. Same with impeachment.
