Afflictions won big time unfortunately, however here's one more before the end of the month I did whilst messing around Day... 18 - angular, I guess #sst26 #sst2026 #Spaceshiptember

Trying not to miss too many days despite the afflictions, so here's a quick WIP sketch of a Keiñuan Serpentine Spacer apartment Day 9 - Space Station #sst26 #sst2026 #Spaceshiptember

Also have a quick doodle of its ship meat. Like most Keiñu warships, the crew are either an uploaded group-mind and/or a godlike fractalic intelligence which reside in distributed computation nodes across the ship, so any hitchhikers better hope they have a visitor module

No physical crew because whilst Lancers are generally quite sluggish compared to certain other classes of warship, you will become souplike homogenate if the field countering the acceleration falters in any way

This is a Heavy Lancer, which is a broad class of warship that occupy long-range fire support and sniping roles in several Keiñuan polities. It's essentially built around an incredibly powerful spinal gun designed to deliver ultrarelativistic gifts to anything with a few light seconds of its muzzle

Other than that they usually come equipped with a healthy compliment of missiles/RKKV's, a small drone hangar, and a sizeable suite of field-effect manipulators specialised for use as weapons, shield projectors, or sensors

They originated in communities that settled the outer planets of Řaqani, the Keiñu home system, and having to live in relatively austere, claustrophobic space stations rather than the open and airy drum-style habitats and lunar dome/tube cities the majority of Keiñuans lived in at the time

Pagi
@pagistar.bsky.social

Since then they have become very prolific, with numerous diverse sub-lineages radiating out from the original Serpentine Spacer phenotype. Many of their modifications would also be adopted by other Keiñu groups, the tail foot becoming especially popular

These guys are a lineage of Keiñuan who modified themselves to be able to live in microgravity indefinitely, alongside other minor tweaks such as the ability able to survive lengthy exposure to vacuum, increased resistance to radiation, and having a few more arms (art by Virensere)

Megafilaments are a type giant mobile habitats mostly dedicated to resource extraction and production as is depicted. The first were built about twelve thousand years ago to serve as the nuclei of larger Keiñu nomad swarms, quickly becoming a favourite amongst them

Pagi
@pagistar.bsky.social

No filament is identical, being custom built and self-redesigning as needed. However all have one or more clusters of double-sided terraformed plates for habitation and ecological conservation, their atmospheric containment, gravity and light provided by advanced field manipulation technology.

But these guys are both 'dragons', a common type of Keiñuan combat body. They have the fun ability to change their shape quite radically, such as the dartlike form there for hypersonic flight

This one got way out of hand, haven't really done anything like this style before and it definitely shows. Plus I don't really like the design turned out augh. Aiming for less torture from now on. Also not technically a Keiñuan ship, but the IGS is part of the collaborative universe they inhabit

The Imperium of Galactic States is practically built on its 'trains'. Aboard them, a journey across the galaxy is compressed from weeks or months to mere days, a feat even the mightiest member of its member states fail to reproduce economically and at-scale.

This is a 'Pedjel', a small ancient warship from the period in which Keiñuan civilisation began mass producing antimatter. not shown are the giant missiles which would slot neatly in those two indents. Disclaimer: not really a fighter, its like 50m long or something

You are up to date.
