🚨I’m back at Delaney Hall, where I just heard EYEWITNESS ACCOUNTS from detainees. My concern is that hunger strikers are being retaliated against, all because they were advocating for better food, access to basic medical care, and judicial hearings.

Americans just want affordable electricity, breathable air, drinkable water, and a good night's sleep. All things our billionaire President never has to worry about. Donald Trump is hopelessly out of touch.

The FCC is compromised. Under Brendan Carr, it is breaking the law so Trump’s media allies can monopolize our airwaves. When @FCC would rather kiss the ring than uphold our laws or protect our free press, it can only be called one thing: corrupt. The courts must overrule it.

BREAKING: The FCC scraps a rule limiting the reach of TV station owners, setting the stage for more consolidation in the media industry.

Republicans say Americans are concerned about data centers because they’re influenced by foreign propaganda, but they couldn't be more wrong. Just ask the more than two dozen communities in NJ that have taken action to stop them!

Our elections are safe and secure, and there is no evidence of widespread fraud. The only credible threats to them come from Trump’s conspiracy theories and the “SAVE America” act he’s trying to push through Congress. The American people see right through this scheme.

If the Trump Admin enacts this rule, communities will be denied the chance to voice opposition to data center construction in their own backyards. It’s outrageous. Trump is willing to silence dissent if it continues to help his Big Tech buddies. It should be rejected.

Every proposal House Republicans put forward to fund ICE gives this rogue agency BILLIONS with zero oversight. This is exactly why I've voted against them: we need transparency and accountability NOW.

Americans are tired of paying the price for Big Tech’s AI ambitions. I’m determined to make sure they don’t. If tech companies need these data centers so badly, it can come on their dime.

I'm proud to conduct oversight side-by-side with Rep. McIver, and I'll continue to stand with her as she defends herself in court today against Trump's politically motivated retribution. Members of Congress MUST have the ability to hold government accountable and speak truth to power.

Esther’s tax refund was stalled because of an identity theft declaration issue on her account. After my office stepped in, the IRS removed the flag, updated the account, and finally released her refund.

I’m glad to see one of ex-Secretary Noem’s signature policies walked back, but my Garden State colleagues and I won’t stop until ICE brutality in our state ends for good.

This is a dangerous consolidation of power to Paramount Skydance CEO David Ellison who constantly bends the knee to Trump. Ellison has positioned his growing media empire to serve Trump, including his ongoing destruction of CBS News. With this merger, he would now control CNN too.

Asbury Park has hosted New Jersey’s most prominent Pride celebration for over thirty years in honor of the pioneers of America’s LGBTQ+ rights movement. This fight hasn’t stopped.

Trump and Republicans are rolling back protections, mandating discrimination, and weaponizing federal law against trans Americans. America is never going back—LGBTQ+ rights are here to stay, and I’ll keep fighting in Congress to make sure they do.

Extremists in the Republican Party have gone completely off the rails. While I'm glad the backlash against Rep. Ogles has been swift, the culture of bigotry that made his tweet possible must be rooted out at its source. Hatred has no place in America. Happy Pride. I fixed your tweet for you.

I’m back at Delaney Hall with @repanalilia.bsky.social, and we were able to confirm the horrible conditions detainees described to us in our previous oversight visits. However, we also verified the release of some of this facility’s most medically vulnerable detainees and saw improvements.

Our goal is for this facility to close permanently, but these detainees need relief NOW. My colleagues and I will continue to conduct oversight and hold DHS and ICE accountable so these detainees can be treated with the dignity they deserve.

Happy Pride, New Jersey! I’m proud to stand and celebrate Pride Month with the robust and vibrant LGBTQ+ community in my district. I am determined to fight for the progress America has made to support our LGBTQ+ neighbors. We are never going back.

They desire liberty and to return to work to provide for their families. They’re shocked that they can be stripped of due process and be put in a place like this—in what is supposed to be the land of the free.

My office has received concerned calls from New Jerseyans who have reported that detainees at Delaney Hall have been beaten and pepper sprayed in retaliation for protesting the horrific conditions of this for-profit facility.

When I visited Delaney Hall on Monday, I saw firsthand the appalling conditions law-abiding immigrants are protesting. To meet completely reasonable demands for health care and due process under the Constitution with violence is unacceptable.

Trump’s ICE must de-escalate the situation at Delaney Hall and then shutter it permanently. We have had enough of this coordinated campaign of brutality. My colleagues and I will not rest until this facility closes its doors and our communities are made whole again.

2️⃣ The medical unit is too small with inadequate staff. You shouldn’t be denied care because of your immigration status. That is cruel and unusual punishment—a violation of our constitution.

3️⃣ The bottom line is there are too many people crowded into too small of a facility at Delaney Hall. This private company is making a buck off denying detainees food and adequate medical care. We need to close this facility now.

1️⃣ I met with the detainees at Delaney Hall who are on a hunger strike because the food is inedible. The hunger strike is a desperate effort to improve the deplorable conditions.
