It won't let me respond directly, but I should rephrase. It *can* be tyrannical even if voted by popular vote. However, I said that to point out how the left always has been pro democracy until it doesn't suit them.

Remind me which of these actions were on the ballot? Did people vote for blatant corruption (arguably yes, it IS Trump after all), masked unaccountable goon squads abducting citizens and the summary execution of peaceful objectors? Did they vote to end the rule of law & ignore the Constitution?
