I know it's too early before we know since the merch is still pushed out, but my main concern is that I hope they don't have the Narrow-Gauge engines have kid voices or how they are portrayed like what the HiT era did to them - b/c the Skarloey line is the oldest operating railway on Sodor.

Based on an idea by @janetpax531.bsky.social, if BoCo had a TATMR voice actor - then I think Benedict Campbell would've fit our Metrovick diesel (he could've been the few diesels to stand up to D10's nonsense) w/ his Mr. Plod voice from Noddy's US dub (The Noddy Shop)! #TATMR #Thomas&Friends #BoCo

Okay, I said in my previous post I plan to save my MRR fancast till the DC is out - however, I was so bored and after listening to some of the other voices, I really cannot resist much longer (I know, I broke myself, did I?). Anyways, here they are in terms of scripted characters: #TATMR #TTTE ⬇️

Out of Rebecca's liveries before the final render, I feel they should've gone w/ the first one - this would've been a real inverse of the SR Brunswick Green w/ yellow lining on the real Light Pacifics - the final render looks like an unfinished result (mostly by Jam Filled).

Everyone remembers the Strasburg Railroad and Isle of Man Railways for Shining Time in Magic Railroad - but let's not forget to give the South Simcoe Railway some recognition for its appearance in the main show itself for how it was filmed there on occasion. #ShiningTimeStation #TATMR #TTTE

I wanted to pay respect for the loss of two steam locomotives that once became star attractions of the Sugar Cane Train from the Lahaina Kaanapali & Pacific Railroad. It’s really sad how this once beloved railroad in Hawaii is crumbling in 12 years since its closure in 2014 and nobody’s saving it.

June and Kylie deserve to have more main character leads (since Kana and Laura are so overused) in Hamtaro (since they are connected w/ Penelope & Pashmina) - hence why I gave them more love in my Hamtaro fanfics, more so than what I could say for the Sweet Paradise era.

This is the first time 2 actors from my alternate CGI US voice cast has been complete - in this case, from the Toronto cast, it's Robert Tinkler as Thomas the Tank Engine reusing one of his main character voices (Edward Falcon from Power Stone). #ThomastheTankEngine #Thomas&Friends #TTTE

In my AU cast choices for Thomas' CGI US dub, I picked Ian James Corlett as Thomas (Nitrogen Studios) by reusing his Ten Cents voice from Salty's Lighthouse - and it has the same charm as Martin Sherman's voice (being teenage-like) and I think it fits him. #Thomas&Friends #TTTE

Here's the next US voice idea from my AU CGI Series' dub (from the Vancouver cast) - Alan Marriott as Toad! Listening to his Travis voice from Bob's US dub, I thought it'd fit him since it has the same charm as Joe Mills (even though I prefer Alec Baldwin's posh accent). #Thomas&Friends

I swear recasts of characters voice choices are driving me insane. Anyways, @rizwanb11.bsky.social and I both assume the voice Gerry Quigley gave for James (British variant) is a British/Cornish dialect and I thought maybe he could fit Oliver in TATMR. #TATMR #OlivertheGreatWesternEngine #TTTE

I just skimmed through the official Thomas & Friends Style Guide from 2000, it's definitely a time capsule of the golden years of Thomas before HiT Entertainment came in. Whoever wrote the first few pages absolutely did their homework!

Considering how Thomas was filmed/animated in Canada a few times (especially w/ Shining Time Station first), I agree they should've had a Day Out w/ Thomas events over there too (not just Strasburg). They could've started in like the early 2000s.
