My biggest goal as a titleholder is to be here for others--especially trans, lesbian, and genderqueer folks--to show that we CAN be loud, proud, and truly and openly ourselves. We can overcome our fears and anxieties and do things we never thought possible. We are here for each other, always. πŸ–‡οΈ

Through it all, I couldn't have done any of this without all of the love and support of my friends, chosen family, and loved ones. They're the ones who gave me advice, support, reassurance, and care. They got me through some of the darkest points in my life and continue to guide me forward.

Earlier this year, I became the first woman to hold the New England Rubber title, and it's changed my life. I've been a performer, educator, ambassador. I've helped run events and even run some of my own. Just a few years ago, if you told me I'd do all of that, I'd have struggled to believe you.

It doesn't roll off the tongue so well but "hypnosis can make you do things a version of you (such as inebriated, horny, headspacey) is really into, but regular you doesnt fuck with", and those suggestions can be recalled in an unwilling state. Its like turning drunken impulses into sober actions.
