Pinning this as a welcome post, and also a holiday reminder that my prints are out there, often (like right now) at a discount!

I don't know that there is a template or a "secret sauce" or a clear-cut lesson to take from this. But if there is one it's the idea of treating social media as the hostile territory that it is, of actually acting like you are a participant in propaganda warfare and not like a consumer.

Extremely happy for my Brazilian and Serbian mutuals! And hoping Bulgaria picks up some inspiration for round 2.

People were sounding quite defeatist on my feeds after the losses of round 1 though (BR), so I hope Lula doesn't get his hands too tied. Anyway, what a twist 💪

Ok... I finally watched The Odyssey (still at the cinema here)... And idk man, it's hard to put into words how much I hated this film.

Sexless, joyless, humorless, musicless, foodless, austere, no magic, no gods, no winged boots on Athena, and overstated tacked-on take on some Troy guilt shit. 👎

And I'm sorry, I didn't like the casting either. I could have bought it if there was some type of aesthetics tying it all together, but there were none, just horrendous costumes.

If I hadn't read the book recently maybe it would have been only mostly boring, but my god, it is one DUMB adaptation.

The coyote movie was pretty cool and apt for the times. I wasn't crazy about the digital cinematography, and I was expecting something more, from the praise it got in my bubble, but it's a solid thing I'm glad got made.

One of my all time favorite films is Roger Rabbit, it's really hard to hit that bar, but I was happy to see all the references to it in Coyote, they loved their subject matter.
