24 Hours in A&E Narrator: The 19 year old man was crushed between a river barge and a bridge. It took the onsite team 50 minutes to extract him from the scene. Me, watching in bed: Ow-CHIE! Yeah, I could have been a doctor.

Why do people take calls on speakphone in public places?? I do not care to hear you flirt with your girlfriend. I'm busy trying to edit a manga about a vampire prince!

Today has been a very "my job is making me talk to people who are very unpleasant" day and MAN I need a new jooooooob. PLEASE HIRE ME FOR YOUR PUBLIC LIBRARY 🥺

Turning to BlueSky to find a home for 9-month-old kitty, "Shoes", Baltimore/DC area. His rescuers would love to keep him but they and their toddler are all violently allergic; not even meds and air purifiers are helping. But they love Shoes and want him to find a good home. Deets: (1/5)

Guess who just got to talk to the police and spend 15 minutes sweeping the glass out of my parking spot because the work van that stole my neighbor’s spot got broken into??? What a fun way to come home ~

The people who read the Things to Do in DC email newsletter I get on Wednesdays are clearly all in my same demographic (even if I said go to a friend's party)

Just took a slightly longer shower than I needed because I was having a good voice night and wanted to take advantage of it. I hope my neighbors enjoyed the showtunes.

I worked at my local movie theater for one day when I was 17. I was at training and got my schedule, where they'd scheduled me for every holiday. I'd already mentioned I'd be out of town for Thanksgiving. My parents were like "Yeah, nope. You're 17. Just quit and focus on school." So I did.

This post is unavailable.

My parents are finishing up a very long-awaited two week trip to Italy and I’m sorry but they are the two cutest people on the planet. I love them so much. 💕

I finished @seamas.bsky.social's novel Prestige Drama last night (which I LOVED) and then in my dreams, in between bouts of tracking down monsters, I recommended it to everyone I met. So if you were wondering if ever librarians turn it off, apparently no.

It took me years to get into comics writing because I was scared of being a hindrance to all my artist friends. I didn't want to be the kind of writer they always complained about. Friends finally convinced me to try. I thought I got over it. Feeling it all again reading my feed this morning.

Happy #PortfolioDay! I'm Molly Muldoon, a comics writer and editor! I've written for all ages, fiction, non-fiction and licensed properties. I've also done both comic and prose editing. I have room on my plate for more projects so please reach out! passingfair.com!

Was just reminded of the time in high school where I wore a ribbon with our school colors around my neck to a football game and I thought I looked SO CUTE. Later that night, my best friend/situationship told me I looked pretentious and I was crushed. What gives teenage boys the nerve?

Now that it is not the middle of the night, I'm more aware of how bad an idea this is but COME ON, look at this! It could not be more clearly made for me!! audiblexminetta.com/shows/a-ghos...

Just made the very bad but fun decision to drive up to NYC next Sunday to see a matinee of a show I really want to see and then drive back. BUT IT LOOKS SO COOL.

it was important for me to call this out. King, though I love him, has been getting away with nakedly hateful fatphobia for half a century now and the majority of readers seem to have handwaved it, but I can't. (a shout out to @megelison.bsky.social, though, who's been banging this drum for years)

The queen on her throne (my coworker's car)

We have a cat at work and this morning I watched her block the most annoying coworker's car, just sitting and spacing out in front of the car, ignoring the honking and I have never loved her more. Cats are the best.

One thing I will always love about a Koji Shiraishi movie is it will have a genuinely terrifying sequence that's just unnerving and quite simple and then all of the sudden it'll be like "AND HERE'S SOME 2006-ERA CGI WORMS! :D"

Just discovered one of my favorite Jhorror directors has a movie that I somehow have not seen???? I know what I'm doing when I get home tonight.

I think I've finally gotten to the nausea side effect of new medication and while this would be fine if I still were in a public facing role (as someone with IBS, I know the best thing to distract myself is talking to others), sitting in my office stewing in the upset is NOT HELPING.

Just got invited to a Halloween Party so going to have to actually think up a Halloween costume that's not just whiskers and cat ears for the first time in ages.
