The #Canucks obviously need their top draft picks to hit for their rebuild to be a success. But what would really help is a late-round pick or two breaking through. Could Anthony Romani be one of those diamonds in the rough? dailyhive.com/vancouver/un...

Caleb Malhotra (#Canucks) had the best game of his young freshman season in Boston University's 6-3 win over Vermont last night, leaving with a pair of helpers I had some time to kill, so I clipped some of his best moments -- enjoy!

Somehow, Quinn Hughes comparing the #Canucks to the Yankees is the worst thing he's ever done.

Quinn Hughes was asked about what his favourite part of playing for the #Canucks was. He gave a long answer but started it by saying "It kind of feels like you're playing for the Yankees. You know the passion in Canada. You don't see that everywhere around the league."

As I've said many times, 15 year old me was at that game and it was truly awful. Neutral-zone trap *defined*. Jacques Lemaire's Devils just lined up across the red line and because you still couldn't make a two-line pass, there was nothing to be done. Canucks also had zero shots in the 2nd period.

With eight shots on goal, the #Canucks officially won't set a new standard for the fewest shots in a game, as they tied their franchise record from December 18, 1996.

Starting to feel like maybe referee Riley Brace simply does not have great awareness on the ice. D-Petey had a chat with him after losing the puck in Brace's skates. #Canucks

Outstanding play by Elias Pettersson to knock down the puck and slip it back between his legs, even if he got knocked down in the process. Nice awareness by Linus Karlsson to jump on the loose puck and rifle it in. #Canucks

Down a goal for most of the third period, the #Canucks could only manage two shots on goal. That about sums it up. It was a great road trip for the tank, losing all six games to extend their losing streak to seven.
