Patrick T Johnson @ LevelUp KL//IGDX//Gamescom Asia

New pinned post. I'm Patrick, Head of Discovery @playstack.com , based in Tokyo 🎌 It has been my great privilege to sign and work on games such as Balatro, Abiotic Factor, Unbeatable, RACCOIN, Locator, About Fishing, and several unannounced projects! Please talk to me about JRPGS 🥲

Signing games is cool but my all time career achievement is being cited on the Wikipedia page for Puggsy.

Had the immense honour of handing over three trophies at the Southeast Asian Game Awards last night. Such a rich, vibrant and creative games scene!

Yessssssss! Another OP hit for a great team.

So pleased for the Dicevaders team - this is exactly the kind of review you want to see.

The verdict so far? “Banger.” Dicevaders launched earlier this week, and we’ve loved seeing your reactions and content! If you haven't yet, you can play now on Steam, Nintendo Switch & Switch 2! #dicevaders #roguelike #deckbuilder #roguelite #gamedev

This game is absolutely legit, please go try it out! 💕🎲

Rolled credits tonight on @desktopexplorergame.com with @patricktjohnson.bsky.social ✅ Loved everything about it - the multilayered narrative, ambitious take on the desktop horror genre and the haunting music. We crushed it in six hours but I guess having two brain cells instead of one helps 🫡

What's bro up to

Lying in a bathrobe playing Secret of Mana like millennial Tony Soprano

Signed a hell of a project today 👀👀👀

Further proof as to why I should never leave the apartment

Unfortunately leaving First Light a little bit cold. I'm not sure it ever surpasses one particular moment in the first third and it all feels a bit downhill after that (still a solid 8 though let's not kid ourselves).

Hoping this will be an example of my favourite literary device, Chekhov's Quad Bike
