As predicted, Harley made it to the San Diego con long before me. She's joined up with Zatanna to create this amazing print (under the direction of artist Jordan Gibson) and you can pick up the whole image from me at the Essential Sequential booth, #4601!

Harley will make it to Comic Con faster than me (I'm having a tire fixed right now) but I should still make it in time for preview night. See ya at Booth #4601! Art by Amy Mebberson from our upcoming Litte Golden Book, Harley Quinn-Almost Hero out Sept. 1st!

The latest books on the shelves or on their way to stores soon: WONDER WOMAN - SPIRIT OF TRUTH SPECIAL HC EDITION, just released March 25th. ZATANNA OMNIBUS, in stores May 5th, HARLEY QUINN - ALMOST A HERO! September 1st, HARLEY & IVY COMPACT COMICS EDITION October 6th, and...a few surprises.

Found an old photo from 1953 of me and my Warner Bros Animation compadres Spike Brandt and Tony Cervone having lunch at the Smoke House with some of the guys we worked with back then. A few fellas from the MGM gang came along, too. Good times.

It's February 13, time for Dot's Annual Warner Animation/DC Comics Galentines Day D&D Game and Slumber Party. Hopefully Diana and the Martian Queen won't come to blows like last year, but no one's taking any bets. Big thanks to party planner @davealvarez.bsky.social !

Aloha! This weekend I will be at the Hawaii Pop Con with copies of Pirates: A Graphic History, Draw-A-Saurus and lots of original art including two binders full of 5x7” full color pieces I will be blowing out at $50 each! See you this Saturday and Sunday at the Blaisdell!

Maybe someday, after the eternal billionaire squabbles subside over who gets to own Warner Bros. next, this little gem will finally be released. Unlikely, but maybe.

Here’s a deep cut Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade surprise for fans of BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES and BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, as this float features both @pauldini.bsky.social's inspiration for/original voice of Harley Quinn, Arleen Sorkin, and BUFFY’s evil Mayor Wilkins, Harry Groener...

Twin Cities Con update - Inspired by the Con and the Twin Cities themselves, I will be offering a new signed Batman Beyond print by the amazing Jordan Gibson featuring a pair of twins who love making double trouble for the Dark Knight. Here's a sneak peek. See you there!

This was so much fun.

Tiny Toon Adventures Season 1 Episode 1: "The Looney Beginning" (406-148) Buster and Babs are drawn for the first time by their animator, and escape to start their show. Animated by Kennedy Cartoons Written by @pauldini.bsky.social and Sherri Stoner #TinyToons35 #LooneyTunes

Chip Kidd recently gave us an amazing gift -- a portrait he had commissioned for us of Arleen Sorkin, both in, and emerging from, her role as Harley Quinn. The stunning image is by the magnificent Anita Kunz. I thought it only fitting to post it today, the 33rd Anniversary of Harley's debut.

Today is the 30th anniversary of Freakazoid (hooray!) so I'm posting this memento from 1995. Ahh, for the dear, departed days at Warner TV Animation when the characters would gather in the courtyard at Termite Tower (AKA the Imperial Bank building) for their weekley Mallet Club beating, er..meeting.

Tonight's phone doodle: Inque. Haven't played with her in a minute, now she's back oozing around my consciousness again. So much fun to draw, even though I can never get her swirls quite right. The Phantom Blot seems very smitten. Forget it, Son. She'd eat you alive. Honest.

"Loon Lake." Thanks! I love that one. Wrote it for my sister, the ballerina in our family.

Btw just saw again the Swan Lake Tiny Toons épisode from you with Babs and Shirley. What a masterpiece! So "A Corny Concerto" (with wonderful TMS animation)

Minerva, taking a late summer stroll thru her garden, or possibly posing for her New Yorker cover. A winsome portrait by Dave Alvarez with a nod toward latter-day Chuck Jones style. One of my new signing pieces at last week's Long Beach Comic Con. Tomorrow, a merry mallet mash-up.

I'm sorry, but if Andrew Scott is in it, it's not a mystery. Whichever character he plays, they did it. Case closed. Okay, just kidding, I don't know. But I am looking forward to this.

First trailer for ‘Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery’ Releasing on Netflix December 12

Next week, August 30th and 31st, come join me at the Long Beach Comic Con and Expo! I'll be there with my animation compadres Tom Ruegger and Rob Paulsen, and whatever surf-going cartoon pals that might drop by!

I borrowed Nora's name from the heroine of Ibsen's "A Doll's House." As the Nora in that story is a woman emotionally and developmentally held in stasis by her controlling husband, I thought it was an appropriate fit.

Broken Arms Gordon@brokenarmsgordon.bsky.social

Maybe @pauldini.bsky.social might know what inspired Nora's story? My searching hasn't been fruitful for any other inspirations.
