🎶 New records in my collection Surprise Chef is one of my favourite bands recently. Whatever these Australian folks release, needs to land on my collection. This one is so so so good, "Leg day" is my favourite tune today, but that changes everyday. pawelgrzybek.com/music/

The last time I remember Apple comparing itself so directly to a competitor was probably a series of Apple ads, "Get a Mac — I'm a Mac / I'm a PC". They were funny! Now there is this "Switch to Safari" page🫠 "Safari is a more powerful and private browser than Chrome." www.apple.com/safari/switch/

Going through the Interop list of features interop-rank.fxdx.dev and selecting and ranking the ones I want to see across browsers in 2027. I chose 15 features. At the top of my list are #HTML #a11y features `focusgroup`, ariaNotify(), `headingoffset` and `headingreset`.

🎶 New music in my collection Two of the jazz bands I’ve been listening to most recently are both from Melbourne: Karate Boogaloo and Surprise Chef. No surprise, they are friends and share a band member, Hudson Whitlock. I also dropped some good old Polish rap! pawelgrzybek.com/music/ #music

In the age of AI, porting from X to Y is fast (not always cheap). github.com/zerobrewhq/z... I love the idea of Homebrew being x100 faster. What I would like to see, is collaboration with the authors of the origin tool. Why can't this thing be the next major version of `brew` if it's that good?

"Stop buttons triggering zoom when they’re double tapped" by @piccalil.li Great post. Describes the problem I didn't even know I have, but also comes with a one-liner solution. I also didn't know about this property/value is in the CSS. As always top content! piccalil.li/blog/stop-bu... #css

piccalil.liStop buttons triggering zoom when they’re double tappedIt’s annoying when your browser zooms if a button is rapidly tapped. There’s actually a really simple fix and no, you don’t have to prevent all zooming with a meta tag!

I'm currently reading this proposal to add native `previewsrc` to the HTML img element. Interesting and good issues raised by the community. "Blurry before beautiful: image previews for the web" by @patrickbrosset.com Proposal: github.com/MicrosoftEdg... Issues: github.com/MicrosoftEdg... #html

Two of my favourite CSS people met, and they didn't talk about CSS. On my walk back home from the @nn1.dev meetup yesterday and after a chat with @letorey.co.uk I couldn't stop thinking that what I love the most about Web, has little to do with the Web. I love people. Good people! 🫶
