This little guy we found in our backyard was full of fleas. My wife has bathed him a couple of times and used the flea comb to get rid those pests. Such a great photo!

Found this little one in our backyard. Our 2 adult cats are traumatized. Scared and hissing at this little ball of fur. Weirdos. :) Learned to use the litter box in one day. Trying to find a home for this critter.

Hobbes was outside for a few minutes and chewing on some grass. Here in the picture, it looks like he is posing for the Westminster dog show. A stunning creature!!

We put food out for a feral cat that just had kittens and is looking really emaciated and we get this new breed of cat coming for dinner.

Cherry tomatoes did fantastic this year. One of the few bright spots in the garden. And guaranteed to be free of cyclospora, salmonella, and any other US food borne virus!

My son's cats Ralph and Alice waiting for someone to open the box from Chewy. Don't know if they want what's in the box, or just the box. :)

AI is discovering all kinds of vulnerabilities and security flaws in many software platforms that attackers could use to compromise these systems. Wouldn't it be ironic if AI is what brings down the tech software companies that built it. "The call is coming from inside the house!"

This is a page from Aldous Huxley's "The Devils of Loudun". Almost 75 years ago he saw how new "media" could be used by "power" to influence and control, and to bring individuals to almost mindless subhumanity. His words have become so frighteningly prophetic regarding social media today.

Smoke from the Canadian wildfires in North Central PA. Wow, it is bad. The smoke smell is so strong! Feel for our Canadian neighbors enduring this.

Saw King's X last night in Pittsburgh with my son. Holy cow! Awesome show. That bass sound of Dug Pinnick is insane. My seat was rumblin' when he hit that low string. And to think that he is 75 YEARS OLD! Man, his voice is still awesome!! If only I could be rockin' like that at 75.

This fearsome beast just turned 10 yesterday. He was only yawning, but there is always a little thought that crawls through the back of your mind that he may just decide to use those fangs on an exposed leg for the heck of it. The unpredictable nature of cats!

Watching France v. Paraguay. Personal take: Feigning injuries every 2 minutes ruins the game. Sheesh! You are great athletes: "Man up!". Should be penalized for flopping like you tore your ACL, then hop back up 10 seconds later. 🤬

Had some hard frosts at the beginning of May and I thought our blueberries were toast, but we actually got a nice size bucket, and more are ripening. Blueberry jam is on the horizon.

From the Palmer Art Museum. This was a painting called The Bowery, which highlighted the misery of the poor in New York. Pictured is two people trying to get a little shelter from the elements.

This was one of my favorite exhibits at the Palmer Art Museum. An artist created a new superhero in comic book form. Made me smile.

Went to the Palmer Art Museum in State College, PA and saw some interesting work. This is the 10 dollar "jackass" bill from 1880. The eagle in the middle looks fine, but if you look at it upside down, it is a jackass. Clever work by the engraver.

Our arch nemesis is back. :) We have all that nice grass for her, yet she insists on eating our flowers, hosta and vegetable garden plants.

This little rose breasted grosbeak got stuck on our front porch on the side windows and couldn't figure out how to get out despite the fact the whole front porch is open. :)

As the world burns, Milo remains unconcerned, and feels it is always the right time to take a nap. Be like Milo. 🙂

A good friend found this print at an estate sale and gave it to me as a gift since he knew I am a huge 3 Stooges fan. It hangs proudly in my music studio. Great caricature drawing!

Lost a great singer and frontman, Brad Arnold. Saw 3 Doors Down several times and he was so great to the audience. It's a sad day. 😢
