For too long, Democrats and Republicans alike have sold us a myth that what’s good for big corporations is good for all of us. It’s a lie. Swipe to see key states impacted by bad trade deals. ➡️

Manufacturing jobs in Wisconsin have fallen by 16.3% since NAFTA. That’s over 89,200 fewer manufacturing jobs, according to our new state fact sheets. An agenda that works for working people is not out of reach, we have the ideas.

For decades, working people have been promised that “free trade” deals would bring good jobs and rising wages. Our new fact sheets for all 50 states track the toll of the NAFTA-WTO era and today’s chaotic trade policies on workers, farmers, and communities.

Ndjimu, a Congolese film showing a rare view of the bottom of the critical minerals supply chain, echoes one clear message: there are real people behind the rush for critical minerals. We must keep in mind the human cost of our consumption.

Today, people around the globe took action to say NO to ISDS.⚖️👨‍⚖️ Here in DC, we handed out flyers to World Bank employees, informing them about the Bank’s secretive corporate tribunals where corporations can challenge public interest policies and get billions in compensation.

The Trump admin is using tariff pressure to push countries into trade agreements that threaten livelihoods, sovereignty, natural resources, and digital privacy across the Global South. Join trade experts and movement leaders to unpack the risks and explore ways to resist.

We’re here outside the G20, calling attention to decades of trade policy that have devastated blue-collar and rural communities in Wisconsin and nationwide. We cannot continue with a trade agenda that prioritizes billionaires over working people.

“G-20 ministers need to champion trade policies that benefit the general populace and build the middle class, not the corporate elite and Wall Street,” said Wisconsin labor leaders Dr.Michael Rosen and Charlie Dee. www.jsonline.com/story/opinio...

To alienate Canada, one of our closest allies, and then turn around and strike a deal with Belarus’s dictator for fertilizer that barely exists? The message from this administration couldn’t be much clearer.

This month, G20 trade ministers are meeting to reshape our global trade policy. We’ll be there demanding our trade deals put working people before corporate profits. Join us to demand fair trade deals that work for us, not corporations!

The Trump administration is pumping billions of dollars out of our communities and into the pockets of family and friends through scattershot mining and processing projects. Our new report uncovers possible conflicts of interest.

Outsourcing and concerns about AI’s impact on the workforce are real problems. We need a progressive and bold alternative to decades of Trump’s failed trade policy; TAA can be a part of that.

Trump wants to be in charge of which internet (and other telecoms) providers that foreign governments can purchase. This imperialistic "trade" agenda isn't just anti-democratic, it actively undermines economic development and competitiveness.

The U.S. Cattlemen's Association says Trump’s decision to exempt Brazilian beef from tariffs will not make groceries cheaper – but it will make it harder for ranchers to survive. So who exactly is this exemption helping?

As the 🇺🇸U.S.-Canada 🇨🇦 trade conflict escalates, Trump is banning imports of Canadian motorcycles, dairy products, and alcohol. Picking a trade fight with one of our closest allies does nothing to help working people.

Trump's coercive minerals deals are extremely harmful to vulnerable people in other countries. @pcgtw.bsky.social Director Melinda St. Louis breaks down why hiding these deals behind closed doors makes it harder to enforce protections.

“It is a reasonable goal to seek diverse and reliable supply chains for minerals. But the way we do so matters.” This week, GTW Director Melinda St. Louis was the only witness to testify to the secrecy, harmful terms, and possible corruption and misuse of taxpayer💰 in Trump’s mineral deals.

Trump's rush to conclude his secrete minerals agreements raises serious concerns of corruption & misuse of taxpayer funds. Due to a lack of transparency & accountability, we're left wondering who they actually benefit. Melinda St. Louis, @pcgtw.bsky.social Director, explains:

Critical minerals deals shouldn’t be made in secret. Today, our Director, Melinda St. Louis, will testify before the House Ways and Means Committee on the Trump administration’s minerals deals and their threat to taxpayers, workers, human rights, and resource-rich communities.

NEW LAWSUIT: We're suing Trump's State Department for withholding key information regarding its critical mineral deals. The American people deserve to know what is being negotiated on their behalf behind closed doors. We're suing to shine a light on these shady deals.
