Loving Bluesky but because it it’s terrible for posting anything with any length, I started a Substack for our Arden Vul campaign recaps. ardenvulsessions.substack.com #osr #ose #ttrpg #dnd #ardenvul

Recap of our Arden Vul session from back in December. Hopefully more regular updates start now!

Imagine my disappointment when this was not a video about gender affirming surgery

Here is a quick video about why I wanted to write an adventure for WHPA. Days of Future Fairhaven is LIVE on Backerkit. www.backerkit.com/c/projects/3...

A very close friend and ex-coworker of mine works with the Operation Identification program at Texas State University's Forensic Anthropology Department, and this is one of their partners. www.gofundme.com/f/keep-sthrc...

NYC has been my home for 23 years, and I have never been more proud of my city and my fellow working citizens than I am today. Grassroots movement by the people sent Mamdani to the top, and billionaires, Dem establishment, and the financial class are in a cold sweat. YOU LOVE TO SEE IT. #ILoveNY

Turns out I really did hate to be that guy 😂

I ain’t even worried.

If you have anything nice to say about Ernie Gygax you can ✨ fuck right off ✨ out of my friends list.

Arden Vul Session 10 Recap is up! One party member lost, another gained! open.substack.com/pub/ardenvul...

Arden Vul session 9 recap, wherein I nearly run out of synonyms for “smelly”.

Session five of Arden Vul of Arden Vul completed with no PC deaths and much loot removed. I think they’re getting the hang of the place. #osr #ardenvul

The first thirty minutes of Superman (1978) seems ripped from todays headlines. Jor-El has to deal with an attempted insurrection, gets ignored when he warns the council about catastrophic global climate change, and there’s an undocumented immigrant for good measure.

In case anyone is still Christmas shopping for me…

If you’re going to make a blanket statement about the #OSR community, and your sample size is “Twitter a year or two ago”, you have zero credibility.

Session 2 Recap is up! open.substack.com/pub/ardenvul... #osr #ose #dnd #d&d #ardenvul #ttrpg #rpg #ttrpgsky

If you don’t have this yet, get it! The art is amazing, the system (for me) hits that perfect sweet spot of crunch and agility and is easily modded to suit your table, and the included setting is incredible, and would be easy to port to any other retroclone if you like.

Pretty much me these days #osr #dnd

If you see this, post a #ttrpg cover you love. This cover immediately takes me back to a place and time.
