OpenDisplay iPhone Duo support is coming along nicely. If you have a Duo watch out for the update for the iOS app soon!

Hey if anyone fancies getting OpenDisplay for android, consider joining the closed beta test via joining this Google Group. Thanks! Google requires me to run a 14 day closed beta before a public release. https://groups.google.com/g/opendisplay

`opendisplay` is in the official homebrew cask. I did not notice until today. Qi Zhang added it. Thanks mate! Adding the `-receiver` version as well now.

Best accessory. Almost got the OB-4 but would have been overkill for my use case. This is portable, cheap and robust. Can recommend.

Girlfriend approved. Beautiful little speaker CMF by Nothing great sound for such a tiny device. Looking forward give it a go with my TE OP-XY later today. :)

PoC of having an conversational Agent on the phone in VR as my personal Matrix Operator 🤙

It's almost that time of the year again. Therefore revisiting my calender design 2027. Pretty cheesy but better than a still image, right? :)

As cool as AI is for game development, just imagine how cool it is for VR Game development. I'm starting to believe.

Sold my Quest 2 in 2023 because I was anticipating an imminent release of the Deckard.\n Now 3 years later tomorrow is today.

In an ideal world I could stream Steam VR Games from my ARM Arch based Mac to my ARM Arch based Steam Frame.

Is Android's QuickShare feature the better AirDrop? Just got a Android phone for testing. Also tempted to make the switch. And now realised this QuickShare feature works natively with AirDrop in my Mac and it even works almost more reliable right now.

Opus 5.5 now visualize my dreams. Built a brainwave recording device. Wearing it while sleep to record my raw dream signals. The next day this is uploaded and turned into a watchable clip by Opus 5.5 . What a time to be alive.

Just got a generous donation from Gary for OpenDisplay, today. Donations are great but also great to collect all these happy supporter messages on my ko-fi page. Thank you. 🙏

Everyone now has a personal GitHub leaderboard.\n It only shows you and people you follow.\n\nCompare your contributions to your friends and idols now on https://commit-history.com 📈

Just discovered the actual instagram treasure trove of reels featuring OpenDisplay. Surreal.\nSo cool to see people are hyped about it. 🚀 https://www.instagram.com/reels/DdZf2Z3Rruq/

OpenDisplay 1.21.0 for iOS and iPadOS just got approved and released.\n This update lowers the minimum OS requirement to 15! Which allows OpenDisplay to work with devices with an A8 chips or newer. Devices of that era are iPhone 6s and iPad Air 2 from 2014.

OpenDisplay has no analytics or crash reporting. I'm do not want anybody to think I'm spying on them. So it is such privilege for me to have so many users reporting issues and implementing fixes and features in pull requests.\n Open source is the best!

Made some good progress today on the 5K iMac support. Using it as a daily as a extended monitor for the past two days via https://OpenDisplay.app

AI just helped a friend of mine recover ~$5K worth of Polkadot tokens. It used polkadot-cli, a tool I wrote. It enabled it todo it. We all know AI is good. It's even better when we give it sharp tools.

With great pleasure I can inform you, that my obsession for GitHub stars is finally cured.\n Took me 11 years to get the Gold Achievement for this.\n 4096 Stars.\n Thank you for your attention on this matter.

Want to wrap up network leaderboards for commit-history this week. So you can actually see how you compare to the accounts you follow.

Struggling this year with reading. I read a lot but lots of DNF this year. Picked up some more out of the usual books to learn about some knowledge for life.

Wrapping up OpenDisplay Receiver app for Mac, especially older Macs. Has been a feature request for a while now.

Got Stuff to show in front of developers? Offering special promotion for the prime spot on https://commit-history.com with almost 9k weekly visitors. Developer audience. Just 10 USD / Week. I need to test my stripe checkout. Link in thread.

I know this is wishful thinking but EGOIST , it's probably not possible to somehow update kero in flight? Updating closes all my agent sessions and it's resuming them one by one after a restart is not fun.

Hello bluesky from self hosted shoutrrr. U nsure if this is what i thought it would be. But tickled another idea in my head. Which I find super obvious but no one seemed to have executed on it.

It's actually is a really enjoyable game. Very monopoly like but feels fairer. Would play again. 7/10 I have a hunch modernised version would work really well today. As many people are interested and educated in finance these days. bsky.app/profile/peet...

Bought this ancient german board game from 1991. Were try to be the richest player trading german company stocks. The rules talk about taxes, options, dividends, yield, revenue. Haven't spotted leverage yet. Not sure if it's a WSB or german tax simulator. Going to find out this weekend.

I find the SVG version of the bigyear.vercel.app/ to be pretty fun to use on collaborative digital drawing boards. I added it as a second download option. You can just drag and drop the file the canvas of any app. bsky.app/profile/peet...

Once exported as SVG the calendar can be easily added to a @excalidraw.com board, pretty neat. bsky.app/profile/peet...

TIL, home printers can do 1200 DPI. However, AirPrint does just 600/300. If you want your prints to look your best use a cable and install a the official driver. AirPrint / Cable+Driver comparison. It complained about empty toner before I did a 1200 print. Classic printer story.

Had a great running year! Most of the kilometers in Barefoot shoes. Almost 300km more than my previous best year. I hope I can keep it up! Bicycle kms this year are the lowest so far. But it looks like next year will be a big bicycle year again.

Crushed my reading challenge this year. A total of 23 books up from 13 books last year. Enjoyed reading during the first hour of my mornings and with a cup of coffee after breakfast.

Drafting how to turn my childhood home into a little emblem for a christmas present. I dig the style but it needs way more refinement. But could work. Not sure if I have enough time to craft a decent v1.

Finished 1984 yesterday morning. Today picking up this more modern and recently revised book by @qntm.org, 'There Is No Antimemetics Division'. Enjoyed only his short stories so far. Only two chapters in so far but it is mind tingling and fresh.

For now settling on this card style. Show varies degrees of missing data to be filled out in print. bsky.app/profile/peet...

Been searching for ever for a open source family tree visualisation which does not suck. They are all so ugly. Using gramps web now but the trees generated are so limiting and ugly. Now vibing something with works for me with react-flow so I have full control. Not final yet, just exploring.

I find this style of print out calendars to layout personal key events for the next year far superior to any digital solution.
