I added a clickable "sprout of acknowledgement" to certain pages on my site (art page, newsletters). It's functionally a like button, a few people told me they like to read and lurk but don't comment so I added a little Digital Headnod button. pelagic.zone/art (example at bottom, above comments)

oh I guess my 2025 art backlog is now up on that page too lol but that's much less exciting than a clickable ๐ŸŒฑ ... you can also totally tell i learned how to do subtle css animations recently

only certain pages will have it because i don't like the idea of having a like button, but no joke maybe like 5 people in the past month have told me they enjoy my silly newsletters and whatnot but are too shy to comment or reach out so this is for them to poke ๐Ÿซถ LOL

codex: jackalope - the folktale of the jackalope is theorized to be associated with shope papilloma, a virus that causes cancerous growth in hares and rabbits. #codexfauna #frogcroaksart

my brother said "it's about 25% larger than i expected it to be" which i think is about how i'd describe this creature too

These were actually lined traditionally with fountain pen and scanned/digitally colored, which is an experiment i've been enjoying lately

Still your heart. Have patience. When you hear the rat in the sand, reach down, grab it, and bite it's head off. The taste will be so sweet. [ #lancer #lancerrpg #lancerpilot #lancerart ]

Finally set up something I had on the backburner for ages, a filterable gallery of my art hosted on my site! A lot of art has its own custom captions/descriptions on a click. Check it out... pelagic.zone/art

Here's an example of the captions in the lightbox, the extra description when present can be seen on a click. This was a large learning process (wrote a bit about the process here: petrel.bearblog.dev/filtered-gal...) and I still have to fill in a rather large art backlog, but happy with it for now.
