Technically, an EO only applies to the “Executive Branch”. Technically it has zero power or authority to ignore the LAW. But since we have a Republican-dominant Congress, they’ll abandon the LAW and slavishly allow him to overstep his authority. Last G would be rolling in his grave.

Hey Republicans! Perfect chance to show the voters that you do have independence from this criminal and will enforce the LAW, involving the courts as needed. But crickets. Why do we even have a Congress? Where’s Doge when you need them?

I’ve just started to read “Regime Change”, and I’m struck by 2 things that confirm my own conclusions about who Trump is. One is that he positively gloats when he is able to humiliate publicly anyone who ever dared to criticize him. It makes his tiny peen swell!

The other is his belief in the idea behind “The Secret”- if you can convince yourself that something is going to happen, has already happened, or is happening, it will “manifest”. Maybe he has a secret “Vision Board”, who knows? But he works very hard to convince everyone that he’s always right.

The weird thing is that the force of his apparent belief- despite all evidence to the contrary- manages to overpower the weak personalities with equally weak or non-existent moral compasses, surrounding him, that his frankly delusional ideas are facts. It’s kind of fascinating. And repugnant, too.
