30. Favorite game of all time: I can't... Too much recency bias pushing my brain on this one. Baldur's Gate 3 was such a remarkably enjoyable experience. It's certainly my favorite of anything that's come out recently. I've put insane hours in to Dragon Age: Origins, Mass Effect 2, SWTOR. I can't.

29. A game you were surprised you liked: Cat Quest II Played it with my son and was shocked to find it as fun as it is. I'd play it on my own if he wouldn't get mad at me. Heh.

28. Favorite game developer: Bioware They have so many of my favorite games. Can't be anyone else. Larian has a chance to catch them if they keep it up, though.

27. Most epic scene: Modrin's final moments in Mass Effect 3. IYKYK

26. A game on your list to play: The Thaumaturge. Feels like a good way to follow up Baldur's Gate 3 once I'm finished with Veilguard. Note: I skipped this so 25 and 26 are flipped in my list.

25: Best voice acting: Mass Effect 2 and 3. Can't pick between them. The voice acting is just phenomenal in both of them. The first one had its rough spots, unfortunately. No such complaints about the two sequels, though.

24. Favorite 'classic' title: Zelda It was the start of my love of both fantasy as a genre, and what would eventually become RPG's. I was so excited when the NES Classic released so I could play it again.

23. Best art style: Limbo It's a 2D platformer and it's black and white, but it is hauntingly beautiful.

22: Sequel that disappointed you: Final Fantasy XIII. The series lost me with that one and I never really went back (if you exclude VII Remake).

21. Best story: Star Wars the Old Republic's Agent class story. I know... if you're not an MMO player you are probably sitting there thinking "WTF?" But trust me. It's incredible.

20. Favorite genre: Science Fiction. If you ask me tomorrow, I might say fantasy. It really depends on my mood and which has a big release most recently.

19. Picture of a game setting you wished you lived in:

18. Favorite protagonist: Nathan Drake. The banter alone is probably enough to put him here. That the games were great was almost gravy on top of getting to hear that wit and sarcasm.

17. Favorite antagonist: Darth Baras (swtor). There has never been a more satisfying defeat of a boss. Never has a more perfect, manipulative, effective, enraging a**hole been written. I want to go back and play the conclusion of that story again just thinking about it.

16. Game with the best cutscenes: Final Fantasy VIII. I'm cheating here a bit. This more the first time cut scenes in a game really wowed me.

14. Current video game wallpaper: Dragon Age: The Veilguard. It's just so pretty.

13. Game you've played more than 5 times: Dragon Age: Origins There are lots I can list here but this might be the one I've played start to finish the most times.

12. A game everyone should play: Limbo. No explanation needed. It's a masterpiece.

11. Gaming system of choice: PC. Historically, I'm a Playstation guy, but I've been PC exclusive for a few years now.

10. Best Gameplay: Baldur's Gate 3. This is sort of cheating because I play a lot of DnD, but I've never had more fun in a game mechanically.

9. Saddest scene: Tidus realizing he's a dream in FFX. Aerith in FFVII almost took this, but that was so sudden. The realization with Tidus drags out a while and really makes you feel it.

8. Best soundtrack: Mass Effect 2: Lair of the Shadow Broker. The combat music while on his ship alone wins this for me.

7. Favorite game couple: Squall and Rinoa. Sensing a theme here?

6. Most annoying character: Squall Leonhart. :)

5. Game character you feel most like: Squall Leonhart. Cliche? "Whatever."

4. Your guilty pleasure game: Pixel Gun 3D. It's terrible. It is entirely derivative of other IPs. It's a micro transaction pit. I only started playing it because my son wanted to. But damn it, I enjoy pwning the shitbird little wannabe fascists too much to stop.

3. A game that is underrated: Mirror's Edge. Not only was it innovative, gorgeous, and fun, but the story was really well done on top of it.

2. Favorite Character: GLADOS Especially in Portal 2.

1. First video game: something on the Intellivision. Maybe Major League Baseball? Or Astrosmash? I was very young.
