this scrappy kitten Lucy Fur leaves us tomorrow afternoon. it’s been 15 years of skittery moulinex work, i guess she deserves her Big Rest. she’s the cat the kids have had effectively all their lives (Jerry was more my cat) so lots of emotions. 💔

we’ve had Lucy Fur for 15 years. she’s not been well recently, and disappeared, I expected her to have gone to die somewhere. I happened to see her curled up in the rhubarb patch, and she’s had 32 hours on IV fluids, antibiotics, antinausea, and seems eager for more food. and her nose is pink again.
