Built a thing with #claudecode. Was short on Google Photos space + own a Synology, so I made a tool to migrate from Google Takeout to the NAS. Detects duplicates, only uploads new photos, tells you whats safe to delete. github.com/pfilbin90/nas-google-sync #GooglePhotos #Synology #OpenSource

Listening to #TheExpanse audiobooks - they're excellent. I'm currently on book 2 #Caliban'sWar. Hearing Bobby go full mech-warrior against of bunch of scared corpo-security is peak Space opera. Hell yeah Bobby, we need more of you in the real world. #booksky 💙📚

Homemade crunchwrap supreme. Pretty good, and surprisingly low cal/high protein (496cal/61g)!

If anyone wants to ditch paying for turbotax - I recommend FreeTaxUSA. It's free to file federally which is great for someone who doesn't have any state taxes. www.freetaxusa.com?share=tB4PRM #tax

i just cannot get over how much the administration’s response to the crash shows a profound disrespect for the lives of the people they are supposed to serve

Gosh, I remember when we had an actual president instead of a loudmouth bully who won't take responsibility for his actions.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a declassified World War II-era CIA guide to sabotaging fascism in the workplace has become one of the most popular free ebooks on the internet: www.404media.co/declassified...

How do we feel about developers who lock their platinum trophy behind finishing the story again on NG+? Personally I feel like it's a low blow. Looking at you #insomniac 😐 #Spiderman2 #PS5 #gaming

2024 Cover Wrapped #Booksky 💙📚

Hot take. "Wrapped" montages should be done the first week in January. Everybody is already over theirs, but anything you consumed or did these last couple weeks didn't get counted. Now that's injustice!

By the way, I fixed this by taking it all apart & soaking it in vinegar. Then replaced the O-Ring and added some plumber's lube to help it rotate more smoothly. The vinegar was clutch though because there was mineral buildup everywhere! Sucks I'll probably have to do this every 5 years. #Plumbing

Festive kitchen towels do not bring the holiday spirit into the home unless the drying performance matches your daily kitchen towels. If they have gold lined tinsel with poor drying qualities and/or they leave lint on your dishes, they deserve to be burned! /End rant 🧨🔥🎅😁

#PrinceofPersia was an excellent pickup during the #steam autumn sale. It feels like the perfect #steamdeck game. I also got #HITMAN but I swear it was a coincidence. Nothing to do with the recent news cycle lol. This one runs down the battery much faster. Feels great on the desktop though 🎮📍

Congrats to all the #cosmere fans reading Wind and Truth today. I am finishing up #asoiaf first before I start my journey with #Mistborn in 2025. Eventually I will catch up! 💙📚

Anyone who thinks the #carnivore diet is the key to long term health hasn't taken a step back to ask themselves why it seems to work for them in the short term. It just means you've stopped eating all the bad processed stuff from before, but you're also removing nutrients, fiber, and healthy fats.

#RingsofPower is enjoyable for the high production quality imo. But I'm not enough of a Tolkein nerd to know how true to his works it is.

Hey #plumbers, this should freely move from right to left, correct? How can I fix this? #plumbinghelp #plumbing

Car washes converting to self-vacuum and subscription models is the equivalent of #shrinkflation. I took for granted when an army of employees would wipe everything down inside and out.

How do we feel about boss fights where draining the life bar once is actually only half of the fight? I personally feel like it's lazy design for the sake of 'suprise' or 'drama' in the story. 🎮 #Spiderman2 #Hades

I know I'm super late to the party, but what the heck happened to JK Rowling between books 4 and 5? It goes from exciting Quidditch World Cup and Triwizard Tournament fun to death, anger issues, and Umbridge torturing Harry in detention 😱 Very fast and stark change in tone! #Booksky 💙📚 #HarryPotter

I forgot about profile background photos. Added this one from Tahoe just now.

Hello everyone. Christmas decorations are now allowed. Anyone who had them up before is on the naughty list.

I don't know why I thought 8pm at the gym would be less busy than 5pm. I really thought people would be finishing up, but I forgot about the 20-somethings. And they crowd the machines just as bad as high schoolers! Smh...

Somehow I became indoctrinated into thinking DayQuil is the only good sore throat medicine. Turns out a sore throat is mostly inflammation and Ibuprofen works way better for that.

It will be hard to find someone worse than Matt Gaetz for attorney general. But if anybody can do it, I trust it's the president-elect.

That news was as good as it Gaetz.

Finishing up A Storm of Swords soon. My ranking of #asoiaf books so far is: 1. ASOS - Best twists 2. ACOK - Best plot progression 3. AGOT - Last but not least, great introduction and really fun writing On to the rest! Winds of Winter for Christmas? Please George?
