Have not paid enough to attention to politics in Israel but I would surprised if Bibi lost today. Long ago are the days I would peruse the Jerusalem Post online on occasion. Then again, I know next to nothing so maybe is expected to lose. It would be nice of course.

Chemistry isn’t that really important at all. [read dripping with sarcasm]

Don Moynihan@donmoyn.bsky.social

A 2025 Nobel Prize winner in chemistry, Omar Yaghi is the son of Palestinian refugees who grew up in Jordan. He just left the US to move to China after raising concerns about rising anti-immigrant sentiment, like the kind shown here. donmoynihan.substack.com/p/china-than...

Best ranked in what? Childhood Obesity?

Trump claims that thanks to Republicans, Mississippi's schools are "among the best ranked in the nation"

If it is good enough for the Nobel prize committee, good enough for me.

Shots fired by Michael Owen: "In 2001 I had a phone call telling me that I had won it" That honestly sounds better. Let's go back to that.

Oh no.

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

My impression of Churchill was that if he had 1000 ideas, 998 of them sucked. Those two though. Interesting about having people around to correct you when needed. That is a valuable thing to have (and be able to accept). Certainly, none around Trump is doing that. And Obama embraced that.

Just out of curiosity, where do others get their news on West Ham. Mostly get mine from Claret and Hugh and occasionally KUMB.

Well done, Brazil!! Let’s hope Netanyahu loses on Tuesday and the GOP gets destroyed on November 3rd.

And God willing (or Allah, or Yahweh, or Vishnu, or Mithras, or Jove) you will never be in office.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

WELKER: If you were elected, would you vote to repeal some of President Trump's tariffs? MIKE ROGERS: The best way to do this is to talk in and say, 'Can we work this out?' I'm not even in office yet. (That's a no!)

Eugene Levy, Catherine O’Hara, John Candy, and Justin Beiber … 4 out of 5 ain’t bad.

Obama: "That well-known evil empire Canada. That historical adversary of ours. Canada! *laughs* It's your neighbor. It's a few minutes' drive over the bridge! These are the people who gave us Martin Short and maple syrup. They are the nicest people! And someone we've gotten them so mad."

Might be a good start to not pay football coaches 4 million a year … and then fire them for going 3-4 thus having to eat the rest of their contracts.

Not going to lie, think I would rather be listening to this ballgame on the radio. Fox with all the cut aways and camera angles just annoys me greatly. If I could listen via the Milwaukee radio, I would be all over that.

Nope. Not needed, dickwad.

Trump says that when Rick Jackson is governor of Georgia and Mike Collins is senator, the first thing they will do is call him and say "please send in the National Guard" to Atlanta

And the insurance for the wife and kids.

You’re getting pushback, but this is true to my experience. As I tell younger folks entering the workforce, my passion is putting a roof over my wife’s head. What gets this done is not all that important.
