An elderly lady went to the shelter to adopt a dog. As she was looking into the kennels, a dog sleeping in the corner stood up and looked up to her. Their gaze meet, and at that moment, they knew they both found a friend, a companion and someone to love . They were both rescued and found happiness.

Yesterday I adopted the oldest, sickest, and sorest shelter dog. I'll never forget his eyes. When I went into the cage he didn't even bother to look, he knew I wouldn't even see him. ❤️

When you abandon a dog because it is no longer useful, you are showing your child exactly how to treat you when you grow old. Loyalty deserves loyalty. Compassion deserves compassion. Never abandon the ones who gave you unconditional love. ❤️

This woman adopted this 20-year-old cat from a shelter because she didn't want him to spend the end of his life alone in a cage.

Went to the shelter to get a puppy, instead I came home with 7-year-old Tofu ❤️

The owner in this shop allows stray dogs to come in when it is dark so that they can spend the nights safely .. he put blankets to cover the cold tiles so everyone has a comfortable bed .. such initiatives must be shared!
