Finally got my laptop and my display tablet in the same place at the same time and ended up spending a few more hours touching up a phainon wip than I intended... Ahhhh....!! The day is already over???

I think the light cone figure counts, maybe probably. I want it.

I'm so saddd I miss drawing pretty girlsssss TTTTTTTTT

I miss that feeling of staying up, pushing 4 am when I said I'd sleep by 1, heart pumping and wide eyed because I'm "so close!! almost done!!!", ticking the opacity up by two down by one again and again before deleting the layer entirely, zooming in and out until my eyes blur,

Transforming this, liqufying that, having a "vague idea" of what unnamed layer that highlight is on and still being 15 layers off, "just a little more!!", an hour framing and resizing for a single export, shipping it off to 4 friends 3 of which won't see it till tomorrow, finally passing out at dawn

I miss it all I think. I haven't sat down and finished a drawing in... Far too long.

The cats are meowing and growling, one from outside my window and the other I can hear in the hall through my bedroom door... There's no need to talk through the walls girls, you can go out or come in the cat door is open.....

Tsk. I've got tasks to attend to and friends to respond to but it's been one of those weeks where I don't have the energy for long conversations at all... I'm not terribly tired, but I am just tired enough that making it to the end of a conversation is... Something to be celebrated...

Mildly frustrated as I really do enjoy talking to people and I hate putting things off like this...

I need to stop dreaming about new myphd aus when I haven't finished writing the old ones but hear me out on the timeless vrmmo trope where the love interest is sunny and confident in game but is minorly to majorly disabled offline and lives vicariously through their avatar. (Yes I mean phainon.)

(I know I sound crazy when I say this but I was thinking about phainon/gepard because funnily enough ever since that one convo the dynamic has sort of lingered in my brain. And I'm not going to be the one to write this, but I'm just saying...)

(If anyone wants to try their shot at interstellar cadets phainon and gepard to later in life reunion as fleet commander and small time squad leader.... I could see myself reading that.... Comrades in arms to lovers is just a really good look on both them...)

You know that we're so back, it's so over, we're so back, it's so over meme? Yeah that's. Exactly what you'd see if you walked in on my little corner of the library right now.

The yuri week fic is going to make me crash out because I know exactly what I want but oh boy oh wow do I hate. Writing everything in-between. It turns out it's not actually that easy to turn a writing hater of xx years into a writer.

I am genuinely incapable of locking in on this yuri week fic and maybe. Maybe that is okay. I am not sobbing and crying and throwing a fit at all.

I wish the algo here let me stay exclusively inside phainon and myphaidei circles the way I can be on phainon twt and myphd twt on the bird app... It's a lot harder to just stumble upon people in those spheres here...

I miss my~ drawing tablet~ I'd been using my iPad for art since summer I think, but recently I've been missing my huion like hell... It's not as if I can't draw without it, but I've always drawn the most detailed things on my huion it's really not the same anywhere else...

This account is a lot more organized than my twitter and I do occasionally post life update things on here so I don't think it would be too jarring if it's once in a blue moon...

As a workaround I've gotten back into pixel art... I had to create a few sprites and backgrounds for an group assignment and I'm very pleased with them! Sometimes I wonder about posting non-phainon related art on here and I think it might be fine?

New manhwa update just hit way too close to home... Family matters are complicated where you go huh...

I woke up this morning thinking I really want to write today I ate lunch thinking I should really start writing after this I spent the afternoon thinking I really need to write something I got into bed thinking I wonder where the day went? I wrote 25 words. <3 Great work everyone.
