I wondered why the ball kept getting bigger and then it hit me. Life is kinda like that, so I try to follow Joseph Campbell's dictum and be a joyful participant in the sorrow of the world.

Sir Ian McKellen orates 'The Stranger's Case' from 'Sir Thomas More' by Shakespeare about the Evil May Day xenophobic riot of 1517 in London. This passage was written 400 years ago, but times never change. Humanity refuses to change its unwarranted bias against 'others'.

Washington is beginning to look like an unsafe construction site under the leadership of Donald Insane Tr**p. I think they should put up a barrier around the whole district and declare it an open-air insane asylum.

I'm posting this video every day so we NEVER forget what insurrectionist Donald Trump did on J6 Instead of accepting defeat and honoring the peaceful transfer of power, Trump unleashed a deadly mob on the U.S. Capitol in a last-ditch attempt to stay in power THIS is what an insurrection looks like

"As dark falls down to dark, the night rises up to envelope the trees and landscape offering mystery and comfort at the same time. The world slows its hustle and bustle and time winds down and memory wakes up as do the ghosts of the past. They gather around us, glad to be called from their weary ...

"We'll take our stand for this land & the stranger in our midst..." Powerful. Brutal. Inspirational. A loving tribute to Renée Good, Alex Pretti & the good people of Minneapolis. Plus, it name-checks all the villains: the Puppy Killer🐶, Pee-Wee German🇩🇪, the Orange Atrocity🍊💩 & above all: ICE🧊🚫 1/

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good. Stay free

"But if you remember to look at the snow like a child... gazing up, trying to see where it originates—then the slowness into which it falls, the paralysis of its journey, will drop you immediately into a lower, slower state, one where you’re sure to live twice as long."

Canceled my Amazon membership. Planning on a NO Amazon Christmas. Shopping local and giving charitable donations. Conscience wins over convenience. Same reason I jettisoned Facenook Jan. 20 and landed here. You can do it too. It might be an Alice's restaurant moment and movement.

What did you do with your extra hour today? I lay in bed and contemplated time as a construct of the human mind. Actually, I watched the leaves falling off the trees outside my window and thought of nothing. Heaven.
