Not being able to read the pokemon names is funny. The postgame of BW has a huge leveljump and the trainers use pokemon from the national dex and while I know which traibers have what in the mainstory, the same can't be said here. So I go with my gut feeling.

While I still grinded just to feel a little more prepared for the postgame, I stopped optimizing my playthroughs and enjoy them a lot more because of it.

What I realized as an adult, is how many things you need to actively remind yourself to do. As a kid, being excited and stuff came naturally, so it is frustrating that it isn't anymore but I also believe it's not your fault. We are taught to focus on things we don't enjoy, so it becones the norm.

I will absolutely complete the Winds and Waves dex and I will absolutely rush through the story out of sheer exitement. But I will not force myself to complete tasks I don't enjoy anymore.

I am not annoyed that GiGi tends to miss their moves. Seismitoad is trying it's best to deliver strong moves, but barely 2shots stuff, but they do their job still well. GiGi was outsped and oneshotted by Ghetsis Hydreigon, so Seismitoad came in and took 2 Dragon Pulse's like a champ.

Everytime I use Emboar in a playthrough, I think about how much I love it. The colors are great. The way it's upper body is orange and it's lower body red, mixed with the dark and yellow highlights. Also it's long tail for some reason?? And yet, I still think it's my least favorite of the 3.

Emboar might be the 3rd fire/fighting type in a row, but plays differently. Samurott's only fault is not learning a good fightinc type move in Gen.5. But Mega Horn and X-Scissor are great.

Still thinking of the Monster Hunter Stories finale. It's insane how much I remembered, but also how much I have forgotten. The fact you saw the final boss slowly turning into the final boss mid battle was crazy and I can only imagine what my thoughts were back then.

I also heard people who played the 2nd one saying they thought Navirou is annoying. If you haven't played the first, you should abdolutely do it, because everything about his story was so cool and so well done. I'm honestly all over the place with my praise for this game.

If you want to (re)play a game just for fun and not for a specific challenge or whatever, then take that time to focus on the game. I had that exact problem where I kept watching yt while playing in the background and at first it seems to be impossible to do it on it's own.

BW are 16 years old and the Musicals are still not well understood. Chuggaaconroy did slme videos on them before, but his information doesn't add up with my experiences. I am pretty sure you lose points when trying to disrupt someone else's appeal.

In my experience, it's best to put 2 propts on your pokemon that suits best for the theme (like cool or cute) and the rest is just throwing random bs, because everything should be represented to get the highest score and then just pay attention to music and dance to time your own appeal.

I dreamed it was the day Winds and Waves came out and I forgot to buy an eshop card and was about to get ready to grab one while I was so excited that I could create enough energy to charge my whole place with electricity.
