I was spoiled by growing up in the 90's; Back then, progress (technological etc.) felt monolithic and exponential. Everything was always getting better by leaps and bounds. It was exciting. I'm not sure how 36 years later we wound up HERE, but everything is getting worse by the day. I HATE it.

DLSS 5 faces look like old school Deepfake face swaps and now that I see it, I can't unsee it. Obviously I know that's not how it works at all (DLSS5 doesn't add or remove geometry; just alters textures and lighting) but in situ, it looks SO SIMILAR to those wonky deepfakes

A Gym, but a sports/activities gym. Somedays you come in and you’re throwing football WR drills and doing two hand touch. Then the next day a pickup basketball game. Then maybe organized dodgeball the next day. Hell, throw in European handball and ultimate frisbee. I need this.

But while the uncertainty exists, it has not even began to tamp out the passion that I have for helping create beautiful experiences for people to enjoy and play. It will never alter my love for communicating joy through my art. 3/

On a personal level, it’s been challenging trying to support my family during this time. We’re suffering. It’s so hard to not feel like I’m failing my wife and our 14-month-old daughter while facing this extreme uncertainty. 4/

The state of the industry right now is so tough, and it doesn’t look like things will get better anytime soon. Not gonna lie, this has made me feel uncertain about the future of being part of this industry… 2/
