Everyday Venezuelans flooded the streets and rose up against Maduro in 2024. Today, Hungarians just did the exact same thing - record turnout, streets packed, and they VOTED OUT Viktor Orbán after 16 years!

But CAUTION — Hungary isn’t safe yet. Orbán left loyalists embedded everywhere to sabotage the new government’s budget and gut democratic reforms from the inside. Putin, Trump & JD Vance (who campaigned for Orbán) are already licking their chops to stoke chaos and engineer a brutal comeback.

Ukraine is breathing easier too. With Orbán gone, Europe can finally move as one united bloc against Putin’s war; and Ukraine’s EU membership just got a massive green light.

Front row seats at tonight’s UFC fight went for $50,875. Donald Trump, Marco Rubio, his son, and their circle sat cageside like it was nothing. Meanwhile, people in my district are skipping meals just to keep up with their monthly health insurance premiums. Losing the plot is an understatement.

Their words are textbook “direct and public incitement to genocide” + “conspiracy to commit genocide” - illegal under U.S. law (Genocide Convention, ratified 1988). This endangers our troops and I’m running to stop it.

Rep. Carlos Gimenez on Trump's threat to "eliminate a whole civilization" in Iran: "That's not a war crime. That's his negotiating style."

Phil’s unwavering commitment to national security and to protecting working families sets him apart. He’s the only candidate in this race who actually lives, works, and is part of the district every single day.

Phil has been on the ground with our community: distributing supplies to families during hurricane season, providing food assistance during government shutdowns, and fearlessly standing up against corruption at every level.

As the daughter of a veteran, I know what real service looks like. That’s why I’m proud to stand with Commander Phil Ehr for Congress in Florida’s 28th District.

Phil has been a Florida resident for 40 years and chose South Florida as his home after years of serving our nation abroad. He’s not just a resident of FL-28, he’s deeply rooted there. While others only show up at election time,

Don’t mess with my (our) people. Proud of the work @DebbieforFL is doing at @GSPMgwu. Always an honor to steal a few minutes with my predecessor and mentor.

Carlos Gimenez’s house of cards is collapsing. Taking Crowley money tied to shipping with Cuba is as dirty as it gets. I’m running to end the exploitation of the Cuban diaspora and stop dirty money from lining the pockets of the communist regime and crooked politicians. ¡Basta ya!

In Miami Dade County, Ehr said he would advise companies to come and set up jobs in the “high-tech arena.” In the Keys, he would look for solutions on reliable energy that can help bring down costs in the island chain. www.keysnews.com/news/local/d...

Gimenez: "We've been warning the administration about the enforcement that's been going on. We thought there should've been a course correction a long time ago, and now I guess it's gonna be forced on us by the Democrats. We should've been focusing on criminals and gang members, not grandmothers."

His self-righteous anger and shouting show he’s not well. Notice he dialed it up as he’s speech went on. The SW land border is secured, so where’s his proposal for rational immigration laws? He hates immigrants, here legally or not.

We’re all paying his dim-witted tariff taxes that fund his family grift and Mar-a-Lago members. He’s trying to soothe your soul with fake economics. Do you feel good about healthcare and housing costs? Floridians do not.

Good cease fire agreements are not “settling wars”. The Nobel Peace Prize was appropriately awarded to Maria Corina Machado. He’s throwing away America’s superpower, built on personal freedoms, strong middle class, leading research and military, allies and friends.

It’s very simple: you’re either on the side of the law, or you’re not. If you’re on the side of the people & law, sponsor an Authorization for Use of Military Force resolution, vote on it, and stand by it. See, simple.

We already tried outsourcing veterans’ care. It failed. That’s why the VA exists. MAGA Republicans like my opponent, Carlos Gimenez, want to hollow out the VA and hand veterans’ care to for-profit systems. Veterans deserve a health system driven by service and trust, not margins.

“Why should I care if criminals are killed?” I see this comment everywhere. Here’s why it matters: these boat strikes aren’t war, they’re law enforcement. When the government can execute people without trial, the rule of law collapses. Due process protects Americans and U.S. service members.

This decision rests with DHS Secretary Kristi Noem. Downgrading swastikas and nooses weakens morale, discipline, and trust. When leadership fails sailors, the mission fails too.

Coast Guard admirals know that unit cohesion isn’t optional; it’s mission-critical. Sailors cannot be expected to serve beside symbols of hate. This decision rests with DHS Secretary Kristi Noem. Downgrading swastikas and nooses weakens morale, discipline, and trust.

Under the laws of war, you never attack anyone who is hors de combat: shipwrecked, wounded, defenseless, or already in your power. Those two men clinging to the wreckage were exactly that.

The Washington Post@washingtonpost.com

Exclusive: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth gave an order to “kill everybody” in the first strike on suspected drug boats in the Caribbean. After two men survived, the mission commander ordered a second strike to comply with Hegseth’s instructions, according to two sources.

Under the laws of war, you never attack anyone who is hors de combat: shipwrecked, wounded, defenseless, or already in your power. Those two men clinging to the wreckage were exactly that.

Ordering their death anyway crosses an even brighter line: the ban on no quarter - the absolute rule that you do not kill people who cannot fight back. Every commander knows this. Every officer is trained on it. These aren’t obscure legal theories. They’re the bedrock of lawful command.

Yet the Secretary of Defense still gave the order: “kill everybody” - after the first strike, after operators saw survivors in the water, after it was clear they posed no threat. A second missile was launched just to finish the job. Hegseth didn’t make a tough call. He made an unlawful one.

Congress must investigate. The Senate must finally take up Additional Protocol II, and every American should understand the stakes: The United States does not give “no quarter.” And if someone tried, the law requires us to say no.”

Ryan Goodman@rgoodlaw.bsky.social

Now Senate Armed Services Committee and House Armed Services Committee - vow "vigorous oversight" and "full accounting" of Secretary Hegseth's alleged "kill them all" order and double-strike operation. Rare joint statements by GOP Chairman and Ranking Member on both committees

Service members are taught from day one that an order directing the commission of a crime must be refused. The Manual for Courts-Martial makes clear that no service member can rely on a superior’s order when a person of ‘ordinary sense and understanding’ would know the order is unlawful.

Veterans like me spent our lives enforcing the rules that keep our troops honorable and our country safe. I will not sit quietly while political appointees or politicians try to normalize war crimes.

Congress must investigate. The Senate must finally take up Additional Protocol II, something military lawyers have demanded for decades, and every American should understand the stakes: The United States does not give “no quarter.” And if someone tried, the law requires us to say no.

It was honor to headline the Remove the Regime veterans rally just steps away from the capitol. Veterans sounded the alarm for a reason. We’re not seditious. We’re competent. #Veterans #NationalSecurity

To the elected officials who voted to withhold pay from service members & veterans who will still show up to shake hands and take photos with us on #VeteransDay: We’ll be charging for the photo-ops this year. We take zelle, cashapp, and Venmo (just for you) #Shutdown #Military

Military families shouldn’t have to refresh their bank accounts during a shutdown wondering if their pay will arrive. Service members keep their promise to this country. Congress must keep theirs. #veterans #shutdown

ONR is the backbone of America’s future naval power. One bad appointment can cripple weapons development, innovation, and national security for years. The Fleet needs tested leadership, not experiments. We can’t afford to see the Navy dragged down like federal research has been.
