Happy finals, complete with support dog (for the professor)

Has Barron registered for Selective Service?

Well, there's 20 minutes of my life I won't get back. #ETTD

Watching #artemis.

USS William Clinton (CVN-82) will be more massive (100 ktn), strike farther and harder (with embarked wing), and will have more endurance (nuclear vice conventional) than any trump class BBG ships. I guess size does matter.

A bit of promo of the school I teach at: youtu.be/VMGJwHS_-zI?...

Idle thought - If the US was a parliamentary system, how many No Confidence votes would have passed in the past ten years?

Sleepy dog is sleepy. Such a hard week running herd on college students.

LCPL Kenneth D. Meisenheimer (Okinawa, 1945) CAPT Jack Punches (Pentagon, 2001) Spec Damon Winkleman (Afghanistan, 2013)

When @darthbluesky.bsky.social gets back he's gonna be so mad. Here's some potatoes to tide him over.

Fatality! #Superbowl

At noon EST I was giving my dog a bath. That's a much better use of my time today.

First dose of doggie sedative in ,dinners been started, wine is on chill. Just a few hours to fireworks and 2025.

UCLA beat Gonzaga (Go Bruins!), Iowa St beat Miami (Boo, Canes!). It's been a good sports day today.

Just finished my last dose of Plaxovid. At least this round of illness was relatively mild, and no one else in the house was infected.

BZ, Navy. #fearthegoat

I can't help it...laughing after that dropped pass. Lets go to field goal penalty kicks next time. Start at the 25, work your way back five yards after each inning.

Thanksgiving, Sigonella 88. A finer group of reprobates there never was.

Ole Miss lost in the most Auburn way possible.

Back from a road trip to USNA. Got a few less hairs, but at least I can still feature tux.

Road trip. Off to the Naval Academy for an alumni foundation meeting. First road trip with just the wife since 1997.

Proof that at one time in my life I did do something.

I'm here. That's it. Sometimes that is your best contribution to society for the day.

Time to inflict knowledge. Lab day today

Hello, happy Halloween, boo!

Anyone want to see an awwww? My son with his two young girls.

Happy Birthday, US Navy.

Midterms this week. Here's your reminder that if you live by the Quizlet, you'll die by the Quizlet.

Just finished watching Devotion and got all the feels. Brings back a lot of memories to this old sailor.

Update - Daughter and boys are fully moved in, with 3 dogs and 20 chickens. House is crowded, but tensions have eased. Exhausted from the move, decompressing now. Blood pressure is now normal since she is now safe. Time to look for a bigger house!

Daughter and grandsons update..Hunting rifles and pistols moved, furniture starting to arrive, and 20 chickens now relocated. My blood pressure still high, but I'm adjusting to the stressors. Once everyone is moved we'll all decompress for a week.

My blood pressure is skyrocketing. Daughter is in the process of moving out of an 11 year relationship with all the drama involved. Two teenage sons, all moving back in. Ex is making troubling statements. These next three days will be rough. I won't settle down until they're all under my roof.

Giving back the first round of tests today. Time to help students adjust their study habits from high school to college level. Also time to have some counseling sessions this afternoon. 😬

First test complete. Funny how the students who didn't do homework didn't do well. As well as the students who memorized quizlets. The successful ones were the ones who did homework and asked questions in and after class.

Please remember if an F-35 shows up on your doorstep it is a lost Marine. Please feed it crayons and call the Commandant.

At least my Bruins are putting the beatdown on.

We now have proof. Bama's problem isn't the QB issue. The O-line isn't doing their job!

As reported by AP, Aaron Rodgers has a torn Achilles tendon and is out for the season. I believe this would be considered a negative return on investment by the Jets.

Profile pic is me way back in the dark ages. I did my NROTC 1/c cruise aboard USS Tautog. Aug 83 we surfaced at the North Pole. Happy to be there, and happy to wear my UCLA colors.
