Beethoven never learned to do multiplication. If he needed to figure out how much he earned selling six pieces for 50 ducats each, he would add up 50 written in a column six times. He usually got the correct answer. Nephew Karl tried to teach him multiplication, but it never took.

For instance, if bluesky is more ecologically minded (RIP original twitter) wouldn’t launching with a basic experience and then letting the market build on top of that make more sense than trying to figure out a clever new social mechanic to launch with?
