I never got to say it because of the trip but Throw all the other "spooky" game plans out the window. Yes, even Belmont's Curse. I'm at least messing with this instead, sometime this month.

Numbers updated this morning. I'm overdrafted by $100, so I only need $50 by tomorrow to avoid any fees. Thanks to those that were able to help earlier, that kept it from being worse.

It may legitimately be time to start asking for help. Work is starting to push me in a way that... well, it's bad for my mental health But I'm too far gone to just quit without a lot of help.

Let's just throw this out there now. There's 4 games I want to at least try and stream (or finish) by year's end (years end? Not sure.): Lies of P (my "close enough" spooky October plan) Pragmata System Shock 2 Remastered Castlevania: Belmont's Curse (my other spooky October plan)

Do I expect to get through all 4? No, because work is still a thing, even if Halloween setup was the smoothest I've experienced in a long while. May end up having other things come up too (Windblown update, Ace Combat, Metroid re-plays, *maybe* Borderlands replays)? But I'll see what happens.

I'm still trying to decide a "spooky" game for October if I get to it (right now I'm leaning towards either Castlevania: Lament of Innocence or Lies of P, pending 2 specific things). That said, I have a very important test stream I may do after my planned trip: seeing how a stream fares on Linux.

I think I can safely say my original plan for October streams won't happen (I don't see myself getting through Ace Combat 2-7 in time to mess with 8). I would kinda lose a week anyway with a planned trip. That said, I may have in mind a... not really spooky game, but something that could work.

Context: in May I started to look into making the swap from Windows 11 to Linux, but there was a major snag - my capture card didn't fully work. That was apparently fixed over the summer, so I need to test it out. I want to have proper time to mess with it though, so maybe I'll try it mid October.

Oh lord, a good few new followers since I last looked here Um.. hi there! At this point I mostly use this account to mention when I stream, which... may be a little infrequent with work starting the usual 8 month holiday stress (also work wi-fi freaks out trying to look at this account).

After trying to mess with it for a few days, I showed off an alt outfit for the model today (though I have another tweak to make later). I'm happy with this one so far.

My previous planned stream ideas may go back on hold again for now. The annual holiday work stress is starting up earlier than usual thanks to other things coming up at the store.

I do still want to get in at least a test stream with the new mic I bought, plus one more FF14 stream next week, since it's the final week for that gift sub mount campaign (as awkward as twitch subs may be to mess with right now). Outside of that, we'll see how I feel until April.

Since I said it during my stream tonight, I'll go with this for now If I reach 150 followers on Twitch, I'll play chapter 1 of Deltarune for the first time. For every 10 after that, I'll add a chapter. If I reach 200 before Chapter 7's out, I'll do the rest 24+ hours after they're out.

So, I was originally gonna try streaming the Switch 2 version of FFXIV after my shift today ... I still might, but only so people can see the difference. The game's playable, but you can very much tell it runs poorly.

Ended up just playing Splatoon Raiders, and finished the entire back half of the game. Was a fun time. I thought I was done streaming the game, as the rest of post-game looked like a grind and an endless dungeon... except the dungeon has an end point, *then* it's endless. So maybe one more stream.
