Wow this looks like a super generic mobile game of which there are thousands. What is going on with #gamedev these days?

Every few years I dabble in game development, and this time I’m finding a big anti genAI movement. I believe there will be a class of developers & gamers that will focus exclusively on non-AI games, and prefer “artisanal” game developement. Does anyone care to give their opinion on genAI usage?

Do people still care about gamedev blog posts? What about game devlogs? I’m really wondering what people care about these days #gamedev
