Sir Ian McKellen orates 'The Stranger's Case' from 'Sir Thomas More' by Shakespeare about the Evil May Day xenophobic riot of 1517 in London. This passage was written 400 years ago, but times never change. Humanity refuses to change its unwarranted bias against 'others'.

Trump made some statements about the riot on January 6th the other day. I thought I would pair it with some footage from the event he claimed was full of love. Over 140 law enforcement officers were injured that day some with life altering injuries. Several committed suicide.

This quartet of Stephen Colbert, Jon Batiste, Elvis Costello and Louis Cato followed by Paul McCartney performing “Hello Goodbye” is the perfect ending to the Late Show. Thank you, Stephen, for all the years of comedic wisdom and shenanigans. What fun we had.

As scheduled, it’s TACO Tuesday!

Ugh! Had to call out a childhood friend for posting a screenshot of a post insisting that Va democratic legislators are exempting themselves from new gun laws. But not before it was shared 9 times and people in the comments section were outraged.

Three or four of these despicable group chats have become public, but here's the thing: It's absolutely certain that there are HUNDREDS of group chats just like them that we'll never learn about. There's an entire generation of groyper Republicans, and in a few years they'll be running the party.

I know that the removal of Greg Bovino is only a small step in the right direction, but after a year of screaming into the void, I have a momentary feeling of hope. Thanks to everyone for standing up for what’s right. Together we can move mountains.

I’m so tired of the infighting among Dems right now. With no majority in either house and a madman in the Oval, we have no leverage until the next election. If you thought ‘25 was bad, I’ve got news for you: ‘26 will be worse and we have a year of pain and misery to endure. Get it together, people!

I see a lot of people angry at Dems for caving about the shutdown but hear me out. What is the concrete leverage the shutdown held beyond winning votes on Tuesday night? How was keeping the govt shut down going to change Republicans minds who have shown zero interest in the well being of the

American people? Subsidies have already expired and a continuation of the shutdown on top of that is doubly harmful to citizens. Dems have zero power to force Repubs to do anything. I say let the Republicans lie in the bed they are making. And people need to learn the importance of voting.

It occurred to me that 1 year ago tonight, in what was a bucket list concert for me, David Gilmour at MSG, my joy was robbed by the election results as they poured in throughout the concert. That seems like a lifetime ago and I am exhausted from the damage done since. Thanks, everyone, for tonight.

I went to an event for Abigail Spanberger last winter and happened to follow her out of the venue at the end of the evening. She had her daughters in tow and her elderly mother with a walker. I could relate to her instantly: Divining and conquering.

New developments in my 3 year Epstein investigation, this time regarding JP Morgan Chase and its CEO, Jamie Dimon. This is a long thread, but worth sticking around for.

A few of my favorite retailers are from Britain, so I likely won’t be buying goods from them while 15% tariffs are in place. But I also will not be buying replacement items from the U.S. because I don’t care for the styles I get there. All flags and eagles.
