Memorable Presidential Quotes In History From FDR: "The only thing we have to fear... is fear itself." From JFK: "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." From our Vulgarian-In-Chief:

One guy. One. There's no sane explanation for letting one guy make so many stupid decisions. All to protect a convicted criminal, who also happens to be a pedophile, from any punishment whatsoever. And they are the same guy.

Say it out loud with me and hear how ridiculous it sounds: "Good leaders get things named after them so if I name things after myself that means I'm a good leader".

They are already messing with my vote. I'm supposed to receive my ballot 45 days before the general election. It didn't arrive, so I'm messaging with the county elections office. They are claiming that my FPCA is only good for one election, the primary, and no longer good for the entire year.

Pennsylvania law also agrees with me: § 3507(b)(1) An application ... for a primary election shall be considered a standing request for a ... general election ..., occurring subsequently to the primary election in the same calendar year.

This has now escalated to a legal demand on behalf of all affected voters. I'll keep you updated. I'll give it a few days for a response and start a new thread here with the results.

So, just to say it out loud, It's okay to be Kanye-West-level anti-Semitic, But it's not okay to criticize the Israeli government or express hope for a free Palestine?

Ed, that was not the answer. This was the time to step up and say that both things can be wrong, the Oct 7th attacks were wrong, and the use of the Oct 7 attacks to justify genocide is also wrong. That's really all you had to do. Oh, and stand up for the Mack, he's the one with the guts to speak.

You are seeing in real time why it's totally inappropriate for jurors to be going on tv and 'telling' on other jurors. Whoever thought this was good for the integrity of the legal system . . . .

There is nothing wrong with those pictures. Piker is right to be proud of himself and share his journey with his humanity. We all have a journey and need to lift each other up.

Hey now, they can't help themselves, jumbotron-ing a ripped Hasan Piker at the Texas Republican Convention. We've been saying it for years, maybe they are finally getting it. Homosexuality is not a choice.

Why should jury deliberations be protected? The Clancy case is a good example. Jurors are now characterizing another juror as a man with "an agenda" who should worry whether he can "sleep at night."

Loek Hartog. Amazing act of bravery and humanity. Pulls a fellow driver from a burning car after a crash. Risks his own life to save someone else. Stops his car during a race and gives up his place. A real hero. What a guy.

Yesterday I posted that, "The anti-Black, anti-Arab, and anti-Muslim hate from centrist "vote blue no matter who" Dems rivals that of MAGA fascists." Today we see even former Rep MTG defend Angie Nixon against Laura Loomer's racist attacks before any centrist Democrat steps up. Just beyond pathetic

As someone said a while ago — media will post stories celebrating orphans who slow down an orphan eating machine but never ask why the goddam orphan eating machine exists in the first place. 2/2

I’m sorry but this isn’t a feel good story. It’s dystopian. Babies with disabilities should not be bearing the burden of raising money so other babies with disabilities can have access to something as basic as hearing. We need universal healthcare. It’s half the cost and full coverage. 1/2

I'm not military but this seems like a major problem that could have very serious consequences. The Iran War has severely reduced U.S. military readiness. At least in the short term.
