DarkViperAU's $6666 USD GTA 6 Leak Giveaway! I recently posted some videos that somehow made me a HEAP of money with crypto. Given my good fortune, I've decided to give back! Enter to be one of the six winners who will receive $1111 USD! Good luck! gleam.io/93btv/darkvi...

the part of Caine's speech from tadc "HUMANS. They only think about themselves. They're spoiled!" kinda sums up the bit of the tadc community that I've seen. I mean like. Imagine you putting your heart and soul into a project only for people to dig you down for even trying it.

And for things that happen that is completely out of your own control. I just feel bad for Gooseworx for having to deal with all the unwarranted hate.

I swear Twitter is a lost cause for some people. I saw a post on there noting a Japanese influencer unfortunately passed, and they link a website which notes the cause of death is unknown. and in the comments its just "{@}grok how did she die" people on that website are hopeless.

also is to say something about over reliance on AI. if every AI service went down for a month, some people wouldn't know how to act because AI can't do the info processing for them.

⚠️HOLD YOUR SCROLLING FOR A SEC AND TAKE TIME TO READ THIS. So... I'm very nervous but I gotta get something out of my chest and say it out publicly. I'd appreciate a ton if you read this, supported me and shared to others. Even in DMs or other socials.

I think I've said it before, but I really dislike the "for the children" argument with companies and government. While the target is "for the children", it does more than that and is a slap in the face for privacy. Especially since ID verification companies could be easily breached.

I don't see the appeal of using AI for content creation. It just kinda sucks the fun and learning experience in making the content. whether that's yt thumbnails or the content itself. it gets called soulless slop because all the human did was write a prompt. That's just lazy.

I mean media generation is cool and all, but that's the limit of it. Just a cool little thing you can make memes with or somethin. It's not really good for anything else imo.

I'm sorry but why I get maybe doing it to speak to a loved one for one last time as like a coping/whatever measure but even then you aren't talking to *them* you're talking to a soulless algorithm that just stitches text together

Meta has patented AI that can run a dead person's account, continuing to post and chat on their behalf It can message and video call by replicating a user's online behavior using their past data

I get the reason for it, because ram prices are insane because of this stupid bubble but I'd much rather try to play what I have on my own system then worry about my internet being able to handle a game streamed from some data center esp when it comes to input latency

don't think I show much progress on how much I've been working on as far as mc server goes but I have been having fun with dialogs in mc

you know the fact you can just have grok edit any image on X without the OP's permission is very dangerous esp with minors involved and people who like posting cosplay without being nsfw

so I don't do art, but if I did, I wouldn't ever post it to Twitter/X. Purely because of this new feature where people can just edit your images easily by clicking a button. and this button can't be toggled btw.

Personally, 'AI' generated media shouldn't be as widespread as it is. I mean it's cool to see how a algorithm can generate media like it can now, but the problem lies where people will replace the human element as much as possible for media, and I think the trend should've stopped before this point.

anyways tl;dr use gen AI for funny things for yourself don't use it to replace artists and support the human artists. (and I don't mean those who call themselves "AI Artists" or "master prompters" or whatever the hecc AI tech bros are calling themselves atp)

I will support human artists to the best of my abilities. because humans can put a couple things into art that an AI never can. and that's heart, and soul.

genuinely I hope the hype to AI generated media dies down a lot because it harms artists more than it helps. I mean there are valid use cases such as having AI generate something in a pose in case you have difficulties making a pose, but that goes into 'assistive ai' than 'ai replacement'.

it's also to be lazy and to save money. and companies (like Coca-cola) will do whatever it takes to cut costs, even if it means replacing an entire department with a set of algorithms they call "AI".

because of this it leads to really having to look to make sure something is actually drawn and not generated by an AI, but even then because it's rapidly improving, its very hard to tell and it now just leads to real artists being called out for AI because of a small detail that a human can do.

and then it gets to those people who think AI is way better than artists and that we should all use generative AI. all because it's "innovative". the last time innovation was mentioned with stuff like this we had NFTs and look where that went.

dunno if I've said but Minecraft is one of those games I can't just put down forever. I honestly still play it and had rare points where I took a mini break
