Request for feedback... In this drum track I made, is it clear where to tap your foot? I struggle with making beats easy to follow. I want them to be subtle and interesting, but then it can be hard to find the one. playingintongues.com/wp-content/u...

I love the way this piece by @ihultquist.bsky.social for the Walking Dead soundtrack starts big and ebbs away. Also: the title "Old Apartment" is found poetry. youtu.be/lq9P-JmRQqM

7 years ago I made a DJ set that's just Ray Parker Jr.'s Ghostbusters song over 100 other different bits of music (some well-known, some less so) and it goes on for nearly 50 minutes and working on it gave me lasting brain damage

The film is written, directed, and co-stars Hitoshi Ozawa, a legendary Yakuza actor who is a villain in Yakuza 0, who got his fellow legends involved. This was his passion project inspired by one of his best friends, a trans woman, and he worked with the community for representative casting.

The high point of Ennio Morricone's soundtrack to "Death Rides a Horse" (1967) is "Mystic and Severe", which is crisp and punchy. The rest is vague and unfocused, but whatever, I bet he cranked the whole thing out in week. youtu.be/RzSKPuaVGmY?...

I love this painting my mum, Jo, inspired by a cottage I used to rent in Devon. It feels so utterly evocative of the place, and the time - the 1930s - when the place was almost certainly at its cultural peak. If you read this, you'll probably understand why: www.tom-cox.com/the-lion-the...
I keep looking at genart to find meaning beyond the math-data-commerce. It's like panning for gold and getting flakes of pyrite. But today I discovered what I was looking for in this one particular image. I understood. Genart embodies trumpism. It is the art movement of corruption. It is scam-art.
