Set my action button on my iPhone to toggle silent mode and I’m never doing anything else with it ever again. Turns out  solved what should go there years ago and removed it. Action button puts it back.

I asked Claude for book recommendations based on other interests and it recommended a book called legends of the galactic underground. I searched google for it. Nothing. Then I asked Claude to elaborate. Claude then admits to fabricating the book…. lol

As someone from the tornado belt of The country I’m calling bullshit on the supposed tornado warning in San Francisco.

I hate when my favorite shoes become fashionable because then a couple months later they are NOT anymore and then I look like I hoped on the fashion bandwagon and didn’t know that they weren’t cool anymore When I’ve just been wearing them for years despite trends.

Loved all the hot takes around the new MacBook Nano-texture option from people who didn't own the device around it lacking deep blacks - borderline shaming designers for liking it.

The only time the blacks look any less deep than the glossy screen is when you are in bright light... in which case you are trading literal bright white glare over portions of the screen for a very light haze over all of the screen. I'll take that trade any day. No questions.

My absolute top pet peeve is when someone says: “First of all Second of all Third of all ” It’s just first of all. Second. Third… “Of all” is saying of all the things THIS is number one.

So much nostalgia for me with the nano-texture. My very first MacBook was a 17" MacBook Pro with a matte display. The first time I've experienced something close to the magic of that first MacBook.

A cool new AirPods feature would be making it so that when you drop them they don’t launch out of the case and fly 30 feet in random directions.

One of my favorite meals of all time in Tokyo. Katsuoboshi - rice covered in bonito flakes and a raw egg and Katsuo miso. This restaurant shaved it from dried katsuo on the spot.

It’s a good idea to use a consistent avatar across social media platforms Especially when we’re all looking for each other on a new one every 10 days When I’m scanning a list a familiar avatar pops out at me quicker than a name.

So my biggest beef with bluesky is how it shows replies from people I follow when they reply to someone I don’t follow. Twitters handling of this was correct imo. If I follow people who reply a lot to random people I pretty much have no. Choice but to unfollow them because they destroy my feed
