When I saw the trailer for Primate I couldn't help but wonder if it was a continuation of Monkey See, Monkey Kill and the incredible sequel Serial Ape-ist 2: I know it is not supposed to but that movie trailer does make me laugh.

Hudson County NJ my lifelong home came up big tonight along with Bergen and Essex counties. It is a good night indeed.

Yesterday I witnessed the true American spirit. People again demonstrating the tenacity to spill the king's goods into Boston harbor. People raising OUR flag and again stating "this flag dips to no earthly king." These are not those who were once labeled loyalist. Americans do not bend the knee.

Today is September 22nd - a special birthday for 2 famous Hobbits At the birthday party of one turning eleventy-one, he spoke one of my favorite lines "I don't know half of you half as well's I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve." Two legends Happy Birthday

Jimmy Kimmel will be back on Tuesday Wonder what this will do to his ratings ... oh yeah. After cancelling, I have again reset my DVR to record his show every night.

They have now taken Jimmy Kimmel off the air because he suggested the Charlie Kirk shooter may have been MAGA. We are living in interesting times.

I really like Strong New Worlds but that last episode - spoiler alert - 5 crew members are transformed into Vulcans - them being Vulcan was a bit unusual but none morose than Anson Mount as Pike who as a Vulcan seemed like a combo of Mathesar of Galaxy Quest and the Conehead Baldar - was it just me?

Watching this old movie from wayy back in 84 called The Terminator. Really good, but don't know where it's going - spoiler alert - the main character named Sarah seems safe now - she is in a police precinct - can hardly get safer than that. If it stays this good I wonder if there will be a sequel?

Is it just me, or is Stephen Miller and evil Smithers to Trump's Mr. Burns?

Enough of the MAGA worship of Donald J Trump - they put hands on him to pray - want his face on a mtn - face on money - he is spoken of in tones of deity. In that country in Asia we fought against in MASH - the citizens there worship their leaders in a similar way - MAGA's wants a Dim Jang Trump

Only thing to kill more people than the Catholic Church are mosquitos.

Watched the movie Heretic with Hugh Grant - a surprisingly good movie - interesting premise and seriously creepy. I know actors don't get much acclaim for parts in that genre but I thought Grant was especially good in this one. I think it's definitely worth a watch.

if Trump had a metaphorical wooden cabinet in relation to his actual political one, when opened, you would find gag gifts, law books with many pages removed, torn copy of the constitution, half empty gin bottles, sex toys and a few confiscated rape whistles. We are living in some interesting times.

It's once again getting to be that time of year where I break out the ol Mr Magoo Christmas Carol DVD and listen Tiny Tim sing about wanting some Rassleberry Dressing. It's a classic.

Just reread a poem - I Knew a Woman by Theodore Roethke -- I didn't understand when young, but do now. favorite lines - Ah when she moved, she moved more ways than one. The shapes a bright container can contain. Let seed be grass, and grass turn into hay. I measure time by how a body sways.
