Road to Doomsday starts with the X-Men

I'm at 86 books this year. My new aim is 110 but I'm about to start some long Stephen King books so we'll see.

I'm Mary Poppins, y'all.

Striking while the iron is hot

One of my brothers is posting about how the Nazis weren't that bad and had good beliefs as well. Another things the Holocaust didn't happen. Genuinely going insane right. Honna start swinging when I see them I swear to god.

39 Stephen King books down. 39 Stephen King books to go. (24 of them I own. 15 still to find.)

I'm seeing it on my cross country trip in 70mm, but it's not why I'm on the trip.

About to take a week long road trip that will really cut into my moving watching time.

In Minions 3 women are still campaigning for the right to vote despite it being 1927, which means the 19th Amendment was never passed in 1920. We do see beer being poured down drains so the 18th was passed.

Supergirl (2026)

Books 49-52. My goal this year was 60 and I think I'll reach it lmao

I want to have kids so I can one day show them Terminator 2: Judgement Day.

Disclosure Day (2026, Dir. Steven Spielberg)

Tuner was really good and gonna be one of those smaller releases I try convince everyone to go see.

Books 45-48. Really enjoyed The Lost Man and put another Jane Harper book on hold.

All 4 of these were first time reads. Books #41-44.

Restarting The Flash. Gonna watch all 9 seasons. This first season is perfect.

How bad do you think Masters of the Universe is gonna flop?

Another 4 books down. 3 new reads and a Batman story. #33-36.

Why tf not? Kingdom was excellent. I was just saying ti my wife how I was hoping for news about a sequel.

Books 29-32. Moving along pretty well this year. Although only one of these was a first time read.

Finished Duma Key! My 34th Stephen King book.

It's cool that with this 4K release of Speed Racer, the credits were edited to say Lilly and Lana Wachowski

Saw To Kill a Mockingbird in this small theater. (My wife is on the sidewalk behind me)

Getting to watch Daredevil: Born Again, Invincible, and The Boys weekly has been such a treat.

Holy shit

Wow the Peaky Blinders movie was ass.

Books 25-28. Making really good progress this year.

Legendary find at the used book store. Holy shit.

Books 22-24 because I forgot to take a picture of book #21, Artemis Fowl.

Do you think Moana or The Odyssey will make more money lmao

Imagine how good it would feel to be watching the 2015 cinematic masterpiece Mad Max: Fury Road starring Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron.

20 books into 2026. 10 books a month is pretty good.

Wow that was awful

Currently watching the hit Zack Snyder film Rebel Moon: Chapter One - Chalice of Blood

16 books into 2026

Watching Society of the Snow. That would be terrible. But unlimited cigarettes might be worth it.

Very odd that Wuthering Heights changes Heathcliff from 'dark-skinned' to white. And removes the racism and classism from the story as the driving reason why he and Cathy can't be together. And replaces it with the PoC side characters who lie and manipulate to keep these beautiful whites apart.

Books 9-12 this year. I've been reading to my wife at night as she goes to bed. We've been doing fun middle grade books. Just finished the Hatchet series.

It should be illegal to put some of a show on disc and then stop partway through. Why do I only get Archer 1-8? Or Fargo 1-3?

My wife just waterboarded me #warcrimes

Books 5-8 for 2026

Four books down in 2026!

My wife has 233 books I haven't read. I'm locking in and reading as many as I can. This will take multiple years. Actually, I have now read 2 of them. So 231 to go. (These shelves are mostly hers with some of mine sprinkled in. My shelves are upstairs.)

Finished God of War: Ragnorak on NYE! Time to lock in and finally play Mass Effect.

I'm pathetically predictable.

The Philip Seymour Hoffman episode of Hot Ones we never got would have been a classic.
