I will endeavor to post a variety of different interests on my feed to try and keep things light and not all doom & gloom. Photography, nature, animals, hiking, kayaking, video games, cooking, gardening, DIY, art and writing. But I will also not be silent.

Sigh. Japan just stripped a Princess's power, her line, and double-downed on the patriarchy. apnews.com/article/japa...

So Maga, how's that $4 & $5 gas that you voted for treating you? Or that your food stamps, ACA, and Medicaid got stripped? I guess you're going down with the sinking ship with the pedophile criminal at the helm. Your DOGE & bribe checks aren't coming. FAFO

Watch my interview with JW Orchard on World's Okayest Writer this Friday, 9/11, where I answer questions about Nereid Unbound. 📚💙 It's still a small & growing channel with the goal of helping authors. Check it out & subscribe. youtu.be/CMvgOetWUFY #writingcommunity #writing #books

Do you remember where you were on 9/11? It was a dark, tragic day for Americans, and one that should never be forgotten. #NeverForget #September11

Good morning weekend #readers! If you love #urbanfantasy, I've got your next read, and it's not vampires, werewolves, or mermaids. It's a Southern Gothic paranormal mystery w/a strong female protagonist uncovering a magical past & dodging supernatural threats. 📚💙https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0H8KBS9DX

This weekend in Niceville, FL. #Destin #FortWaltonBeach #EmeraldCoast

It's Lake Ontario you twisted walking foreskin! Just like it's Gulf of Mexico. Get Demented Don out of the White House already, for fucks sake.

Sept 4, 2024. Funny how gas was reasonably priced then. #oil #gas #fuel

The timeline we were supposed to be in. #elections #democracy #america

#America, can we get this orange taint out of office already? He is destroying the country! #Impeach #ImpeachRemoveConvict

In case anyone was thinking today's gas prices were "low or average," let me remind you of the gasoline price per gallon in March of 2020.

Oh this is brilliant! youtu.be/-9W79RPmOnI #congress #pirates

At my day job we are taking *mandatory* AI training. They state "remember to be patient and correct the information to help train our AI to work more efficiently." Pretty sure they left out "so it can replace you." #corporategreed #peoplefirst

Do you live along the Emerald Coast? Do you like urban fantasy and supernatural mystery? Well now #Florida has its very own #urbanfantasy series set right her in the panhandle amid Choctawhatchee Bay. Find out more at sagebyrne.com/nereidunbound youtube.com/shorts/oPt_a... #books #reading

Went to the grocery store on Saturday afternoon during a high traffic time & the place was nearly empty of customers. A quick stroll through the store revealed prices doubled & tripled on some items. Are we great again yet, #MAGA? #FAFO. Have the day you #voted for.

Giving this launch a boost.

Spread the word! Nereid Unbound has officially launched! #Florida #paranormalmystery #books

I just mailed my voter ballot for the upcoming primaries in Florida. Placed it right into my mail carrier's hand. Don't forget to vote!! #vote #primaries #election

In case anyone was thinking today's gas prices were "low or average," let me remind you of the gasoline price per gallon in March of 2020.

*THIS* is the Florida spring that inspired a location in Nereid Unbound. Every time I visit it takes my breath away. Nature is amazing! This series is a Southern Gothic urban fantasy blending Choctaw and Greek mythology, mystery, and a secret that wont' stay buried. #books #fantasy #folklore

Nereid Unbound in e-book format is available for pre-order on Amazon. Official launch date is August 4th, with paperback release to follow. If you are interested in a fresh take on urban fantasy that blends Choctaw and Greek mythology, this won't disappoint. a.co/d/0fFZvXoy #fantasy #books

America's 250th celebration/flop is over. Now what's the arogant orange troll going to come up with to inflate his ego?

If you love urban fantasy, be sure to follow @sagebyrne.com and sign up at sagebyrne.com for release news & discount codes. Fans of Patricia Briggs, Ilona Andrews, & Charlene Harris will enjoy this series about a woman seeking answers to her mother's disappearance only to discover a magical lineage.

It's America's 250th birthday. I find it difficult to celebrate the slow death of a country due to the cancer that is MAGA, and a white "Christian" nationalist cult killing it from within. It's not progress to take a country backwards in order to harm its citizens. #America250 #4thofJuly #USA

It's July! My urban #fantasy novel, Nereid Unbound, is one month away from launch. Nerissa Morgen, a nature photographer of Choctaw descent, uncovers a magical lineage while searching for answers about her mother's disappearance. Follow at SageByrne.com for updates. #booksky #FantasyBookSky

Friendly reminder to check your voter registration to make sure you haven't been *purged* from the roles, thereby preventing you from voting in the next election.

2026 big energy! My urban fantasy novel, Nereid Unbound, will be making its debut later this summer. Book two has a date with my editor in August, and I'm working on book three now. Human created! I'm only projecting positive vibes from here on out! Dreams can be realized!

My house insurance just went up $750 dollars. My pay hasn't gone up. Gas and groceries have gone up. I can't afford to live here.

This man is my new hero. He got three minutea at a town hall and did not waste it. www.youtube.com/shorts/XX0jI...

I am noticing an uptick in stress & aggression from everyday citizens. How about, instead of lashing out at the people around you, you funnel that outrage toward voting corrupt politicians out of office, and stop spending your money with big corps that want to exploit all of us?

Everyone can benefit from this. www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_h2...

This Friday, May 1st. Niceville FL and then Fort Walton Beach. #MayDayProtest #May1 #MayDayStrong

Did a check-in on my 401k this morning--the one I've scrimped and saved to build. It's lost $7k since the start of this illegal war. I guess the plan is to gut Social Security, healthcare, 401ks, and our wallets. Are we great again yet?

Take a stand on May 1st and send a message to the establishment! #MayDay #Resist #MayDayStrong Maydaystrong.org

In response to "Empathy is a weakness." No it's not. Empathy comes with a spine.
