We acknowledge that no one has the bandwidth for this, but if it helps: -It’s ‘sleight of hand’ -It’s ‘bated breath’ -It’s ‘lo and behold’ -It's 'buck naked' -It’s ‘brass tacks’ -It’s ‘free rein’ -It’s ‘toe the line'

They will not refer to his statements as lying. They won't refer to this administration as fascist. The capitulation is thorough!

In my lifetime, I've seen bullies get their comeuppance in a variety of ways! Regarding that, we need the bully in charge who is designated as the leader of this country to get a serious serving of comeuppance. Style points don't matter to me. Let's vote and hope that does the trick!

Why is BBC reporting "there is lots of frustration with Zelenskyy around the world, which explains Trump's being mad with Ukraine" I have a Q: will you report it exactly like this when Trump is yet again "mad" with the UK leading you into full ultra right submission that will close down your shop?

I am going to post/repeat this every day in the coming weeks: nothing American can be relied on anymore. Absolutely nothing. In Europe we need to reconsider all our ties. Both ways and all of them. Today. Tomorrow. Not next week or next month. Now.

Per Russian media, “Russian sources expect that as well as purchasing Russian oil and diesel, Donald Trump will provide Russia with spare parts to repair the refineries damaged by Ukrainian drone strikes. They anticipate that Trump's fuel deal will lead to a Russian victory.”

lede = introductory section in journalism bury the lede = hiding the most relevant pieces of a story within other distracting information Allegedly, it’s spelled ‘lede’ to avoid confusion with ‘lead,’ which was the strip of metal that would separate lines of type.

The grammatical 'colon' and the anatomical 'colon' are not etymologically related. The anatomical 'colon' comes from the Greek ‘kolon’ which means “large intestine.” The grammatical 'colon' comes from the Greek ‘kōlon’ which means “limb.” Both are a means to an end.

I’m bummed out that our president thinks that Iran taking out Los Angeles or San Diego is a small price to pay. I realize the right-wing media will do their best to spin what he said. I live in NYC. I know what a terrorist attack can do to a city. Trump is a disgrace.

Y’all are acting like you’ve never seen an octogenarian drug addict who spent decades attacking little girls w/his BFF Jeffrey Epstein while laundering money for Russian mob ask Iran to nuke LA & San Diego to help MAGA midterms while a bunch of cornhusk crackers cheered before?

Nobody or entity is stopping him from running roughshod over the Constitution and various laws. I would be ecstatic if some secret heroic entity rises to stop the POS from stealing the election. In the meantime, may I borrow some of your optimism? 🤞🏿

October is the 10th month. ‘October’ means “8th month.” In the first calendar used in ancient Rome, the year had only ten months, starting in March and ending in December. The extra period between December and March was not considered part of the series of months.
