Sunday cookup Lamb leg, pork leg, two types of pumpkin and eggplant. Meats dusted with salt, pepper, fennel seed and Tasmanian Mt Pepperberry. Smoked with a mix of hickory and pecan with a tiny amount of olive wood.

Australian teachers are finishing up for the year. What's your end of year horror story? 🧵 Me: End of 1st year of teaching. Staff were moving offices. Boxed up my stuff on 2nd last day of year, inc 100s of hours of resources and $s of videos and left it marked 'NOT RUBBISH'. Cleaners threw it out.

Came in next day. Thought coworkers were pranking me. They weren't. Checked our 'big bin'. It was emptied over night. I was devastated. Flew out to USA that night. Arrived back night before teaching started the next year. Was a busy year trying to get back on track.

Last lesson, during period 1, with Yr 7 class for the year. Was it wrong to fully sugar them up (after learning challenges) for the rest of the day? asking for a friend 🤣🤣 #yearalmostdone #EduSky

I love Yr8 ACE HASS Passion Project Day. The variety of projects, from ANZAC Day to Wadjemup to Medieval Medicine, is amazing. A great way for these top students to finish their academic year off. #EduSky

We have a no phone policy for students at school (during school hours). However, the issue of smartwatches during assessments is providing challenges. It's to the point where no watch can be worn during an assessment. Anyone else in the same boat? #EduSky

See you in court Senator Farrell! Excellent analysis from constitutional law professor Anne Twomey of the Labor/Coalition duopoly's shamelessly self-interested and constitutionally questionable rigging of our electoral donation and funding law. #auspol

theguardian.comSneaky, excessive and unjustified: why Labor’s electoral reforms are vulnerable to constitutional challenge | Anne TwomeyA political donor will be able to donate up to $640,000 in a year. How is this taking the money out of politics?

I want to see a Star Wars logistics show. We had the leaders. We've had heroes. We've had the force wielders and spies. I want a show about a shady supply sergeant, from either side, and his grifting shenanigans.

General discussion question: How long does it take you to genuinely unwind and stop regularly thinking about your work when you are on holidays? Several days? A week? Two weeks? #edusky

You are up to date.
