Voters in Wisconsin have received mailers calling David Crowley “A COP’S BEST FRIEND.” The mailer, sent from the “Progressive Alliance of Wisconsin,” attacks Crowley, saying he “Backs the blue, NOT US.” A Popular Information analysis, however, reveals that it is linked to Republican operatives.

While the Progressive Alliance of Wisconsin purports to be politically left-leaning, its organizers have gone to considerable lengths to conceal who is behind the organization.

At 12 years old, Amy Acton was the victim of sexual abuse. Now, Acton is the Democratic gubernatorial candidate in Ohio and her Republican opponent, Vivek Ramaswamy, is turning her history of abuse into a political attack ad.
A Popular Information analysis of campaign finance records reveals that the ad was funded, in part, with contributions from the PACs and executives of major American corporations, including Bank of America, Deloitte, DraftKings, Kroger, and Nationwide.

No Going Back PAC has spent millions on an ad attacking Rep. Kathy Castor for buying stock in a company that bought up property in Tampa. The ad cites a Tampa Bay Times article that says Blackstone, through its subsidiary, “spent more than $250 million acquiring 1,650 homes in the Tampa Bay area.”
One of MAGA Inc.’s largest donors is Blackstone CEO and co-founder Stephen A. Schwarzman, who donated $5 million to MAGA Inc. in December 2025. MAGA Inc., which funds No Going Back PAC, is now spending millions to attack Castor for buying Blackstone stock.

“Except unlike his campaign posters, it prominently features an endorsement by and photo of Flores with President Donald Trump, which Democrats are now accusing Flores of trying to bury. The billboard also touts his ‘support’ of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.”

On Saturday, thousands of “No Kings” events were held around the country. At around 1:30 p.m., No Kings’ Instagram account was taken offline. It left the organization without its biggest megaphone during the height of the protests. The account remained offline for approximately 90 minutes.
Just after 6 p.m., Meta spokesperson Andy Stone released a statement, claiming the suspension was an “error.” Meta’s action against No Kings is the latest in a series of “errors” impacting the accounts of Trump critics.

For months, President Trump has publicly celebrated data centers. But while Trump is publicly championing data centers, his super PAC, which he has made clear that he controls, is paying for advertisements attacking Democratic candidates for allegedly supporting data centers.
Popular Information obtained a mailer from No Going Back PAC attacking Jamie Ager. The mailer attacks Ager for being “open to large AI data centers” and “putting… AI data centers ahead of North Carolinians.” The mailer was submitted through Popular Information’s new web app, Paid For By.

Early last year, with Trump days away from reclaiming the White House, Meta’s newly appointed policy chief took a seat on the couch on Fox & Friends to share the company’s new commitment to “free expression.” What began as a canned corporate announcement turned into a mea culpa.
For years, Trump’s new press secretary, Katie Zacharia, has publicly claimed she is a lawyer. Trump touted her as an “attorney” in his post announcing her appointment. On Tuesday, Popular Information reported that there was no evidence that Zacharia was ever licensed to practice law in any state.
A few hours later, Trump was confronted with the report. Trump motioned to Zacharia to answer. Zacharia replied that she passed the bar exam when she “moved to China.” Zacharia’s answer makes no sense. China’s bar exam is not available to U.S. citizens and states do not offer bar exams in China.
“But on X, the social media platform he bought in 2022 and later folded into SpaceX, Musk continues to be outspoken about candidates and political issues — and his enormous audience acts as an influence machine, propelling a fringe claim into the political conversation with a single post.”

When President Trump appointed Katie Zacharia as his new press secretary, he called her “an attorney.” This is also how Zacharia, repeatedly and publicly, describes herself. Yet, there is no evidence that Zacharia ever passed a bar exam or has been admitted to practice law in any state.
She is not listed as a member of the State Bar of California, the state where she lives. Zacharia is also not listed as a member of the State Bar of Texas or as a member of the D.C. Bar, two other places where she worked.
