I don't really have to post art. Drawing isn't externally motivated for me, I don't need number go up. Ideally I'd sit in a cave alone and draw. But art and stories are meant to be shared. Connection is important. I've gotten more comments here than anywhere and that's at least been nice.

I think chasing fame and validation is a poison to the soul. It's anathema to making art that's truly profound. I've had artists I look up to sour on me realizing that it's all ego driven. I share art because I want people to feel seen. It's a rebellion for the actual people in the underground.

It's for the unseen, the actual outsiders. For future artists. I want my art to be actual counter culture, actual punk. I want to make stuff and make it loud and have it say something. I don't wanna be a poser making stuff to fuel my ego cause it's trendy, hipster, or artsy. I draw fucking diapers.

I have a decent following here. I got off twitter for largely "moral" reasons. But there is no ethical art posting site apparently that actually has a userbase. So idk what I'll do moving forward. I don't really see myself sticking around here. Kinda bummed.
