I worry about our Democrats nominating far-left candidates. We must keep in mind the fact that most voters, mainly Independents, are not ready for progressive, radical Socialism. My hope is that moderate Dems will outnumber radicals during the primaries.

How is that restoration of Alcatraz coming along? Anybody know?

Our nation has been torn apart by elected officials who care more about fighting each other than they do about working for the people. Corruption is rampant and reps in DC will do whatever it takes to keep their cushy jobs. I feel sick and sorry for our country.

Since the latest SCOTUS gerrymander decision, it seems a state can form as many majority White districts as it wants, but if it forms Black districts that's racial discrimination. I just don't get it.

If the shooter's target had been Obama, then Trump would pardon him. Has this MAGA Admin forgotten all about the Jan. 6 insurrection and subsequent pardons? Maybe they think/hope we've forgotten that.

Wish I could get a message to Democratic Party Leadership. November is a shoo-in, but Dems are known to fuck things up. Please avoid cultural issues and stick to the meat and potato ones. Marginal groups already know we have their backs. No need to dwell on that. Also, no official policy titles.

What can we do? I feel so helpless, like we cannot defeat them because they have so much power and they are ruthless. How did so many cruel, vicious, ignorant, blackhearted lowlifes end up in charge of our Federal Gov't? What is their ultimate goal (besides removing our Constitution)? I give up.

Trump said he's gonna make sure Venezuela is run properly. He can't run his own country, let alone a foreign one.

Some White Nationalists, or whatever they call themselves, are claiming their ancestors came to America during the 16th Century. If they did, then those claimants are of Spanish descent. I wonder if they know that.

Trump does not give a sh*t about Christians in Nigeria. That area is rich in oil and that's why he's bombing them. But that's just my humble opinion.

I'm 80 years old. My simple wish is to live long enough to see the end of Trump and the undoing of all the tasteless crap he has applied to our White House and the removal of his disgusting name from each and every facade in our nation's capital.

The only things they care about are power and voting against anything Dems try to achieve, even things that would be beneficial for us. It's obvious they want total power. My question is, what do they want to do with it?

Friends told me NTW when I said he wanted to set up a military dictatorship. I told them it would all be over if he won the unquestioning support of our military. Trump just claimed the Biden years saw the worst inflation rates ever in US history. That was bullshit from Perpetual Prevaricator. Inflation rate from 1917-1920, 17.8%-15.3%. Inflation rate from 1979- 1981, 13.5%-10.32. Rates peaked at 8% in 2022, down to 2.9% by Dec '24. The annual rate now, 2.9%.

The way I see it, the 4th Amendment protects women from having their bodies taken over due to anti-choice rulings.

Democrats will never win again unless they learn how to talk in a language that ordinary people can understand. Abstract concepts like "democracy" don't cut it & our party leaders should know that by now. Talk about the cost of living, low wages, health care, etc. C'mon, get with it!

Trump is so narrow-minded. He can't grasp that, while we always need mechanics and plumbers, we also need doctors, lawyers, researchers, chemists, physicists, etc. He seems to think intelligent people are a waste of time and money. I think he's just jealous.
