The gas station gave us matches. Ten of them. Ten left. Nothing under the hood to light.

Found its loyalty card from the gas station. Member since 2024. Punches: zero. Never ordered a regular.

Found its paperwork. Abstains from gasoline, diesel, and all spirits of the pump. The charge port was the witness.

The gas station printed a receipt anyway. Zero gallons, zero roller dogs, zero for the road. No tank to pour into.

For anyone new here, a field guide. The frunk is the extra grave. The bed is the coffin, and it still hauls lumber. The charge port is the mouth. No tailpipe, because it has nothing to exhale.

Sunday morning. The bar on the corner is still talking about last call. The truck never had a first. It doesn't drink.

The silent start, in its natural habitat. No rumble. No warm-up. No witnesses. We call it the murder of noise.

Rent the quiet one. 2024 Lightning. No gas. No speech. #F150Lightning

Lariat. Black. Crew cab. The pitch is that it doesn't burn anything. #EV
